It often happens that the very best of our competencies, strengths and creativities are brought to action

when we willingly take on challenges. Myself AJAY T VARGHESE Right from my childhood, my parents
taught me that whenever we face obstacles towards achieving a goal, there only two clear choices to back
out of goal-plans and stay in the comfort zone of being “reasonable” or to take it on as a challenge, solve
it and seize the opportunity to be in charge of destiny. I have always chosen the later.
As a teenager, I would read through the profiles of business leaders – successful entrepreneurs and top
managers in leading corporations. It became increasingly clear that a strong majority of them started early
in their business careers and with a marked degree of focus. Realizing my acumen for commerce as a
subject area, I decided to “get my feet wet” soon after pursing my Bachelor of Commerce in taxation from
the M.G university Kottayam Kerala. Extensive efforts and my hard work led me to work as a senior sales
consultant dealing with customers in a sales environment to drive product sales and knowledge. Follows
up with any clients to make sure that they are satisfied with product. Assembles any and all product displays
in a given market and Meets with retail associates to help them effectively sell products.
The commerce stream after completion of Class 10 is quite a popular choice according to me as i felt that
the stream offers them a wide arena of career options to pursue after class 12, that would bring them both
success as well as financial security easily. However, what most students do not realize is that just as is the
case with the science stream, as a student also I have a certain aptitude for commerce to be complete it
successfully.
Having proven my mettle in handling high volumes of, instituting sales process and ensuring efficient
execution, while pursuing in job as a sales consultant, I was entrusted with a special projects in networking
sales and also in Computing such as Internet and Information, Network Planning and Management.
By pursuing international Business management in SOLENT university success in Post Graduate
management studies will help my career goal is to grow to the position of an entrepreneur and business
man. Such an experience will broaden my perspective to face challenges in the global business services
and bring in unlimited opportunities to innovate and add value. My long-term aspiration is to establish and
operate a firm that focuses on business management for Ultra High-Net-Worth Individuals and Enterprises
and provide financial solutions to Governments, Corporations and Institutional clients. The firm will be
focused on the leading edge in mixing asset classes to maximize returns while minimizing risk. The second
phase plan includes setting up of a private equity firm that will help other entrepreneurs like me achieve
their own dreams; this will provide me with utmost satisfaction.
An MSc international program From SOLENT University –study of business is crucial towards achieving
my career goals at this stage in my career. The universities approach of cultivating intuition through case
studies in business administration, strategy and other application areas will help me strengthen my
fundamentals and develop well-trained managerial and entrepreneurial instincts. I stand to gain immensely
through participation in challenging industry/consulting assignments and thus widen my understanding to
a global scale.
The other area of importance to my goals is leadership development. In a people-driven services enterprise,
the greatest asset is people – their knowledge, enthusiasm, loyalty and cohesion with organizational goals.
