I. OBJECTIVES:
A. Content Standards: Demonstrates understanding of shapes, colors, values, and the principles
of emphasis, contrast, and harmony in printmaking and photography using new technologies
B. Performance Standards: Describes the basic concepts and principles of basic photography.
C. Learning Competency: Knows that design principles still apply for any new design (contrast
of colors, shapes, and lines produces harmony) whether done by hand or machine (computer).
B. Lesson Proper
1. Motivation
The teacher will show pictures and the pupils will give their own ideas what elements of arts
is applied.
2. Presentation
Let them identify what elements of arts is applied based on the pictures shown on
the screen.
How many elements of arts is applied? 1st picture? 2nd picture and 3rd picture?
3. Discussion
Let them define the different elements of arts based on their own ideas.
Discuss the different elements of arts.
Group Activity
Form 4 groups. Each will make a poster using the different elements of
assigned in each group.
Group 1. Line about nature.
Group 2. Shapes about figures.
Group 3. Colors about different characteristic of a person.
Group 4. Value about sport.
