Multi Org Access Control (MOAC)
139,213 Multi Org Access Control (MOAC) is a feature implemented in R12 to allow the users to submit requests
and access the data of multiple/different organizations/Operating Units from a single responsibility. This
can be achieved by setting the security profile in HRMS

There are two type of security profiles:
SECURITY PROFILE (Local): Is used for the selection of operating units from the same business

Submit a Security List Maintenance Program:

Security List Maintenance Program will generate organization list and enable security profile.
Navigation: MCR HRMS > View > Requiest > Submit a New Request.

Submit a request.
Define Responsibilities for Payable and Purchasing modules:

Navigation: System Administrator > Responsibility > Define

Add these responsibilities to our user.

Set the profile options to MCR AP and MCR PO Responsibilities:
There are three profile options to access Operating Units from a responsibility
· MO: Operating Unit : To restrict the other operating units from a single responsibility. Here we
can assign single Operating Unit.
· MO: Security Profile: To access multiple operating units from a single responsibility.
· MO: Default Operating Unit: To make any one of the operating units as default from a
responsibility.
Note: MO: Security Profile will override the MO: Operating Unit
Navigation: System Administrator > Profile > System

Here MO: Security Profile will override the MO: Operating Unit that means we will access all Operating
Units instead of single Operating Unit MCR Cars. Do the same for MCR AP responsibility also.

Set the profile option GL: Ledger Name for responsibility mcr gl.
