Technical Specifications for TCP/IP


Connections

1. MULESOFT SPECIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

The steps that are needed for the TCP/IP connection between Mulesoft and SAP are –

1. Create RFC User ID and Password in SAP system.

2. Kindly provide the configuration details that are needed by Mulesoft to connect to SAP system –

CA.name= [Server name]


CA.host= [host name/IP]
CA.user= [RFC Username]
CA.password= [RFC Password]
CA.sysNumber= [Instance Number]
CA.client= [Client]
CA.language= EN
CA.server.host= [server host which is same as hostname]
CA.jcoGwHost= [gateway host which is same as hostname]
CA.jcoGwService= [port number]
CA.connection.count= 5
CA.jcoProgramId.abh=

3. Provide Mulesoft RFC User with RFC Authorizations.

4. Whitelist the Mulesoft IP Subnet Range – 10.6.140.* (Last 3 digits of IP are dynamic)

5. Create RFC destination in SM59 with the following details

6. Share load balancer details for QAS and Prod in the below format :

CA.listener.port= [Port]
CA.listener.msHost= [MS Host name]
CA.listener.user=[RFC Username]
CA.listener.password=[RFC Password]

2. MANUAL ACTIVITIES IN SAP SYSTEM:

2.1. RFC Connections via transaction SM59 as per current


setting in SAP.
CONNECTION TYPE for all destinations – T , All UNICODE connection type, ‘Program ID’ must be
same as given in the screen shots below.

2.1.1. RFC Destination – MULESOFT

‘Gateway Options’ to be as per the respective country SAP landscape and system configuration.
2.1.2. RFC Destination – SAP_TO_MULESOFT
‘Gateway Options’ to be as per the respective country SAP landscape and system configuration.
2.1.3. Destination: IPM_ACTUAL_HOURS

‘Gateway Options’ to be as per the respective country SAP landscape and system configuration.
2.1.4. Destination: IPM_ABSENCE_HOURS

‘Gateway Options’ to be as per the respective country SAP landscape and system configuration.
1. Basic Authorizations needs to be provided to the Mulesoft RFC User Id.
2. Please provide SAP ALL access to RFC user in Sandbox.
3. We will provide appropriate Roles and authorization in Quality and Production after setting up
TRACE for the RFC user ID in SAP development environment.
