Ex1. Create your own Custom Data View

Including a chart, a label, a value bar, and a value label. They should
display different interesting elements, from WCDMA. The label should be a
title of the view. Test it – works?

Ex2. Create a second Custom Data View, for dedicated mode

Create a value bar displaying GSM RxQual or LTE PUCCH Tx Power, for
example (depending on your current RAT). Make a call and monitor the
view. Anything displayed?

Ex3. Create a script initiated by a voice call

The script shall start when you make a call and stop when you hang up,
and your call shall be recorded into a logfile.
Allow the call to last for approx 15-20 s.

Meanwhile, monitor the progress in the Script Progress view(s).

Ex4. Create a script containing a voice call

The script shall perform a voice call with duration 30 s and then stop. The
call shall be recorded into a logfile.

Meanwhile, monitor the progress in the Script Progress view(s). Compare


with the progress in Ex3 – differences?

Ex5. Create a script containing 3 voice calls

The script shall perform 3 voice calls, each lasting 30 s, and with 10 s
between each call. All three calls shall be recorded to one single logfile.

Meanwhile, monitor the progress in the Script Progress view(s). OK?

Ex6. Create a script containing 3 voice calls to 3 logfiles

The script shall perform 3 voice calls, each lasting 30 s, and with 20 s
between each call. Each call shall be recorded to a new logfile, so 3 calls
will result in 3 logfiles.

Meanwhile, monitor the progress in the Script Progress view(s).


Check also afterwards that there are 3 new logfiles created, with only
seconds in between.

Ex7. Create a script playing a YouTube video clip

This requires a YouTube Android app to be installed on the device!

Select a suitable video clip on YouTube.


Check in the TEMS Pocket User’s Manual how to specify the video identity.

Save and run the script. Works OK?

Ex8. Pinpointing of the indoor area

Take a picture of a floor plan and create a map set including it.

Load the map set into Location View, and perform pinpointing on part of the
floor adding approx 6-7 pinpoints.

Unload the map set, and load the created logfile instead. Replay the logfile
and monitor in Location View, and in other suitable view.

Unload the logfile.

Ex9. Create (plan) a route for pinpointing of the indoor area

Open the map set created in Ex8 and create a new route on (another) part
of the floor adding approx 6-7 pinpoints. Save Route Changes.

Load the same (changed) map set into Location View, and load your route
also.

Perform pinpinting along your planned route.

Unload the route and the map set.

Load the corresponding logfile and play it. Monitor the progress.
Unload the logfile.

Ex10. Add another floor plan map to your existing map set.

Add another floor plan map to your existing map set.


Load the new and saved map set into Location View, and note the
difference compared with Ex8-9.

Optional: Perform pinpinting on the new (added) floor, and then unload
map set.
