Greetings!

Provincial Nutrition Council – Office of the Provincial Governor of the Province of Leyte, are continuously
working in ensuring the well-being of the children and their families and the communities especially the
most vulnerable. A quarterly meeting is scheduled in order to discuss areas of concerns particularly on
improving the nutritional status of the different municipalities in the Province of Leyte.

In line with this, we would like to invite Ms. Evangeline C. Matoza, your Municipal Nutrition Action Officer
Designate, and Ms. Azucina C. Rufino, your Barangay Nutrition Scholar Municipal Federation President,
to attend the 4th Quarter Joint MNAOs and BNS Municipal Federation Presidents Meeting and Year End
Evaluation Activity on November 27-28, 2019, in Tacloban City, Leyte.

Agenda of the meeting are the following: (1.) Presentation of PNC Accomplishment Report CY2019 and
Year End Evaluation of all Municipalities of Leyte; (2.) Presentation of select MNCs Accomplishment
Report CY2019; (3.) Orientation on Disaster Preparedness; (4.) SAM Program Updates and Report
Presentation; (5.) LNAP Submission Update; (6.) Project E-mic Update (NMS Update and Status); (7.)
Updates from the NATIONAL NUTRITION COUNCIL.

As one of our valued partners in promoting food and nutrition in the Province of Leyte, your positive
response on this request would be of great help in attaining our goals. Once again, the attendance of
your MNAO and BNS Municipal Federation President is expected.
