Roles and Responsibilities:
Installation and after sales maintenance and spare part supply of process and utility machinery like bare
and Lined vessels,/ reactors, all type of pumping systems, mechanical seals (balanced and un balanced ,
with and w/o cooling ) Filtering media, distillation columns high vacuum systems (up to 10-15 torr)
evaporators, distillation columns, process & utility piping and testing of the same.
chilling compressors, AHU’s (with final supply air of class 100),Compressed air generation and distribution
systems, all types of small and medium size cooling towers, thermic fluid heaters etc.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Accountable for the ongoing projects at site and maintenance of the plant machinery and utilities which
includes Boilers, DG Sets, Chilling Plant Vacuum systems, Electrical installations
Plant machinery includes Reactors, Gear boxes, Blenders, heavy duty Vacuum pumps, Centrifuges,
Mechanical seals, Centrifugal and Positive displacement pumps, Various types of driers, ANF, distillation
columns etc.
Also looking after the on going civil work and liaison with the authorities regarding regulatory work.
Supervising the preparation of MIS/KRA reports to provide feedback to top management.
Determining training needs of associates and taking action like conducting suitable training programmes to
enhance their operational efficiency leading to increased productivity.
Report to Management on a day-to-day basis on departmental issues.
1. Also taking stringent quality measures including preparation / maintenance of necessary
documents and conducting audits to ensure compliance with the standards.
2. Assisting the Internal / External Auditor for conducting quality audits and for measuring the
effectiveness of the quality management system.
3. Maintaining quality standards for incoming materials, ensuring stringent adherence to quality
standards, norms & practices, identifying gaps & taking corrective action

• Water consumption reduced by 6% by applying recycling techniques, arresting leakages and
through re-engineering of piping system.
• Bring down the electrical consumptions.
• Started applying predictive maintenance in plant in addition to the preventive maintenance.
• Prepared & implemented minimum spares inventory chart to avoid stock out situations.
Achievements:
Instrumental in bringing down the spare part inventory considerably, almost BD free plant operation and
reduction in manpower by proper allocation of work to the team as to bring out the maximum productivity
from them all projects completed within time
Achievements:
Completed expansion project very much ahead of schedule, at the cost app. 25% lower then estimated.
Independently handled all the govt. work without any middleman/ agent
Reduced downtime due to machine failure/ maintenance by around 30% by systematic preventive and
predictive maintenance Schedule.
Developed in co ordination with the consultant the cost effective material drying system and incorporated
in house made wiped film Evaporator.
Achievements:
Independently designed developed, procured and tested the indigenous spares for the plant machinery at
India greatly reducing the dependence on the costly imported spares.
Reduced down time due to maintenance problem in a good way. As this being a continuous process lines
any minor fault in the production line results in stopping of all the related operations.
Kept the spare part inventory at the optimum level as to avoid the down time of plant due to non-availability
of spares and also not to keep the excessive inventory.

Production Machine like –Tableting, Capsule Filling, Ointments, Injectables, Liquid orals, Clean rooms etc
at their pharma plant at Jejuri.
In their bulk drug unit at Ahmednagar looking after the Reactors, Gear boxes, Blenders, heavy duty
Vacuum pumps Centrifuges, Mechanical seals, Centrifugal and Positive displacement pumps, Various
types of driers, Fixed and floating tube Heat exchangers, Mechanical seals, Vacuum distillation and
Material handling systems.
Achievements:
Independently prepared the preventive maintenance schedule for testing of the vessels and pumps,
Minimum spare inventory chart prepared and implemented.
Developed the brine recovery system.
