NUST FEE STRUCTURE:
The information of fee structure of NUST
UndergraduateNational and International
Students which contains admission processing
fee, security deposit, semester fee,tuition fee
per annum and health facilities ( In case of
International Students ) of Engineering / IT,
Biosciences, Natural Sciences, Medicine,
Architecture, Social Sciences & Business
Sciences. All fees and other charges are subject
to revision from time to time .
Fee Structure for National Students:
Engineering/IT BioSciences & Natural
Sciences::
1)admission processing fee=35000RS
2)SECURITY( REFUNDABLE ) =10,000
3)SEMESTER FEE(6-MONTHS) =75,000
FOR Medicine programs::

Payment of Student Fees:
At the time of admission students have to pay
the admission processing fee, security and full
semester fee in advance. Invoice/Challan for
admission charges along with first semester fee
and Provisional Selection Letter will be
available on NUST website.
Tuition fee will be payable on semester basis.
Students have to pay their fee in advance
before the commencement of semester
otherwise they will not be eligible to sit in the
class.

Tuition fee for the first academic year (two
semesters) will be deposited inform of Bank
Draft at the time of admission in NUST
Registration office.
Subsequent, tuition fee will be paid through
challan form generated by Finance Directorate,
NUST. The structure and schedule of payment
will be intimated to the selected candidates.
The security deposit is payable along with the
admission processing fee at the time of
admission.

Payment of Student Fees:
At the time of admission students have to pay
the admission processing fee, security and full

Students of MS will be charged full tuition fee
for 1½ / 2 years (on-campus duration).
Thereafter, if the student has completed her /
his coursework, s/he will not be required to
pay any fee till completion of degree
requirements. However, beyond the stipulated
two year period, a student will be required to
pay the prescribed course fee for deficient /
improvement courses. However, fee during
Summer Semester willbe course based.
Summer Semester fee will be charge @ PKR
3,000 Per credit hour.

EMBA Students:
Student will be charged tuition fee per course
@ Rs.18500/- per semester for the number of
course(s) taken by a student in
semester.Second week of the semester will
bean add/drop period without any financial
implications for the students.
If the student drops a course after the second
week he will be charged full fee for the course
and letter grade ‘W’ will be awarded

Other Fee Charges::
The information contains Migration Transfer
Fee such as processing fee, migration from
foreign universities, migration from local
universities and transfer within NUST.
The other information contains Transcript fee
( Incase of Normal and Urgent Category ),
course repetition fee, fines for late payment of
tuition fees.It is noted that all fees and other
charges are subject to revision from time to
time.

Migration/Transfer Fee (PKR)::

Processing Fee = 5,000
Migration from foreign universities = 250,000
Migration from local universities = 100,000
Transfer within NUST = 5,000
Transcript Fee::
The student shall be required to pay Transcript
fee as under:

Course Repetition Fee::

The student shall be required to pay Rs.
3000/per credit hour for the repeated course.
Fines for late payment of tuition fees::
The following fines will be levied for payments
after due date::
Period Fine::
After the due date till start of semester
(5 % of the total payable amount)

From start of semester till 15th day:

(10 % of the total payable amount)

16th day from start of semester

(Registration shall be suspended)
For re-activation of registration, student will be
required to pay the Admission Processing Fee
again along with all outstanding charges and
fines.In any case student will not be able to
attend classes till clearance of dues.
