1 FUNCTION

AGA DriverTM is developed to help to run software „PRCI Pipeline On-Bottom Stability 3.0‟
(AGA / PRCI OBS).

„PRCI Pipeline On-Bottom Stability‟ is a piece of widely used software to analysis on-bottom
stability of subsea pipeline. However, usually there are a lot of input files to be run, which
would be boring if user runs it one by one manually. AGA DriverTM helps you to solve this
problem. It simulates keyboard operation to run all the input files automatically.

AGA DriverTM supports PRCI OBS Level 1 and Level 2.

2 INSTALLATION

To start to use AGA DriverTM, please:

For soft lock edition user:

1. Download software from official website to licensed PC.

2. Replace the original “license.dll” file with the one received.

3. Double click “AGA Driver.exe” icon in the folder to start the software.

AGA DriverTM runs on PC with Windows OS.

For dongle edition user:

1. Download software from official website.

2. Replace the original “license.dll” file with the one received.

3. Insert the attached dongle into one of USB ports of your PC.

4. Double click “AGA Driver.exe” icon in the folder to start the software.

3 HOW TO USE

Brief procedure of running AGA DriverTM is shown as following:

1. Open the software

Open AGA DriverTM, and the software interface will show at the upper right of the screen.
The interface is put here for convenience to stop running. User is advised not to move it.

2. Select „Level 1‟ or „Level 2‟

Click „Level 1‟ or „Level 2‟ tabsheet to select to run PRCI OBS Level 1 or Level 2.

3. Input parameters

Fill the all the blanks in the interface, in which:

„File Number‟: Number of PRCI OBS input files to be run.

„Calculation Time‟: PRCI OBS needs some time to run the analysis for an input file. Usually 2
seconds is enough.

4. Open PRCI OBS

Open PRCI OBS Level 1 or Level 2.

5. Run the software

Click „Run‟ to begin to run PRCI OBS. Click „Stop‟ to stop the running anytime if necessary.

6. Functions of other components

„Help‟ button: Call the help document.
