Merchant Policy
Section 1: Universal Terms & Conditions
1. All the purchased deals are not exchangeable for cash and/ or other goods and
services.
2. One deal is valid for one redemption unless stated clearly in the fine print.
3. No replacement or extension will be given for deals that have expired.
4. Deals cannot be combined with any other offers/ promotions unless stated
otherwise.
5. No refund will be issued for partial redemption of the deal
6. Neither GroupMe.my (hereinafter known as “GroupMe”) nor the Merchant is
responsible for lost or stolen deals reference number.
7. Duplicate use, sale or trade of a deal is prohibited.
8. Unless otherwise stated at the time a deal is purchased, deal price does not
include service charges, value added, shipping fees or taxes which may be
charged to the buyer separately by the merchant at the time the deal is redeemed
or during the checkout process when the deal is purchased.
9. Combine shipping is not allowed for different deals.
10. If shipping information provided is not accurate and not up-to date, additional
charges will applied to the buyer.
11. All the deals listed under GroupMe site is submitted by GroupMe site’s members,
merchants or suppliers, GroupMe site do not take any responsibility for the deals
offered as we are platform providers only.  at the end of the claim period due to buyer’s mistake such as incomplete delivery
Section 2: Sale of Deal/ Promotion
1. Merchants need to honor the deal as described.
2. If a deal does not meet its minimum purchase count (Tipped for the deal) by its
expiry date stated in the deal, the deal will be cancelled. All existing buyers for
this deal will not be charged, and the merchant agrees not to claim compensation
and/ or bill GroupMe for all cancelled deals.
3. Merchant can start to ship the item to the buyers once the minimum purchase
count is met.
4. GroupMe reserves the rights to terminate any deal at any time at GroupMe’s sole
discretion
5. All items offered under GroupMe must be original, genuine, new and with warranty
where applicable.
6. The display price of the deal does not include shipping charges unless otherwise
stated.
Section 3: Delivery of Deal
1. Merchant and GroupMe understand and agree:
1. Upon purchase of a deal via GroupMe site, buyers will have the right to
receive the item(s) as described
2. Merchant shall be solely responsible to ship the item to buyers.
2. Merchant warrants that the stock for the deal shall be available:
1. at any time after the deal has been approved
2. in any event until end of the redemption period stated in the deal
3. Merchant is responsible to ship all the deal by using reliable courier services
which require recipient acknowledgement. Merchant is required to update the
tracking number into GroupMe system at / before the end of delivery date as per
stated in the deal.
4. Merchant understands and agrees that the delivery method for “Self-Collect” is an
option and all the arrangement should be make between the merchant and buyer.
5. Merchant understands under the circumstances of “Lost of Parcel/
Mishandling Parcel/Shipped Wrong item” merchant is responsible to resolve the
issue with the buyer.
6. Under Clause 2.5 Merchant understands and agrees that item/ product shipped to
buyer as described in the deal.
Section 4: Changing/ Termination of Deal
1. Merchant is not allowed to edit, amend or terminate once the deal has been
approved by GroupMe site.
2. GroupMe reserves the rights to amend, edit, cancel, reject and reschedule the
merchant’s deal

Section 5: Payments
1. GroupMe shall collect the proceeds of all deals and remit the proceeds, net of all charges
and commissions to the merchant.
2. Merchant can claim the total proceeds in a single payment from GroupMe. The claim
must be made within 10 days after the expiry of the deal. Claims can only be made for
items shipped with courier tracking codes updated to our system. For all self-collect
items, merchant must update the system and provide proof of collection signed by the
buyer. Claim submitted after the claim period will not be entertained by GroupMe.
3. Remittance will be made 21 days onwards after your claim submission date and only to
the bank account specified in the merchant application form.
4. Merchant will not incur any charges or commission for items purchased but not shipped
address.
5. Merchant will incur charges and commission for all items not shipped at the end of the
claim period due to merchant’s inability to fulfill the order(s) e.g. out-of-stock.
6. GroupMe may set off against any amounts payable to merchant in respect of this
agreement against any payment of any amount owed to merchant and any payment
made by GroupMe shall be without prejudice to any claims or rights which GroupMe may
have against merchant.
7. Merchant agrees that any payment that is found suspicious (e.g. fraud card), GroupMe
has the rights to reject or cancel the transaction. No charges will be incurred by
merchant for all cancelled transactions.
Section 6: Warranty/ Indemnity
1. The Merchant warrants that the information and advertising material submitted:
1. does not contain any false or unwarranted claims for any product or service
2. does not contain any defamatory statements
3. does not infringe any rights of any person or organization
4. does not infringe any rules as per listed under Clause 7
5. does not infringe any law in Malaysia and the Merchant will keep GroupMe
indemnified
6. against all claims, actions, suits, demands, losses, costs and expenses
whatsoever and howsoever arising with respect to the deal.
2. Merchant is responsible for product warranty and quality. GroupMe gives NO
representation or warranty with respect to the quality of the products or its suitability for
any purposes.
3. GroupMe bears no responsibility in resolving any disputes arising from product quality
or warranty. Any disputes arising from whatever reasons with regards to product
warranty and quality shall be resolved between merchant and buyer.
Section 7: Prohibited Items
1. Merchant understands and agrees that will not offer to sell the item(s) as stated below:
1. Replica
2. Pre-order item
3. Guns & firearms, martial arts & self-defense items
4. Explosive & flammable items, disabling chemicals & other dangerous items
5. Any other items which are illegal to sell under the Law of Malaysia 
Section 8: Others
1. GroupMe reserved the rights to amend or change the above requirements, terms
and conditions at any time at our sole discretion. Any changes will be effective
immediately and applied for all deals from the date of change.
