Reservation is an arrangement to have something held for their use at a later time,

has a big part of today’s generation. According to Dick Pereilaye, reservation system is

significance of today’s technological age. Computers are widely used in a way that it

makes a job faster and easier. As the population grows the need for dental care services is

to be in equal or at least add some new way to simply some approach. Manual procedures

may no longer be effective in handling or accommodating patient, that is why the clinic

owner is find an alternatives with the use of new technology and techniques to assist the

patients.

Clash Of Burgers is located at Block 22 Lot 3 Meadowood Executive Village,

Bacoor City, Cavite. It was establish on July 24, 2015 founded by Mr. Kino

Buenaventura and Mrs. Jasmine Joie Buenaventura. Kino’s brother Jayson Lim is the one

who named the store “Clash Of Burgers”. The menus recipes’ are also by

Mr.Buenaventura’s recipe.

Since the Clash Of Burgers has been thinking on getting in touch the their

customers. They want to provide more efficient services to their customers. The

researchers proposed an Online Reservation and Inquiry with SMS Notification System

to make the transactions faster and it was said to be the best solution and most innovative

answer for the needs of the management. The main concern of the system is the

processing of the transaction for both customer and owner, and the appointment

reservation for the customer of the store.

Statement of the Problem

Clash Of Burgers Online Reservation and Inquiry with SMS Notification will be

solving the following problems.

1.The Clash of Burgers still using the old way of reservation, they still using first

come first serve basis. So some of the customer will wait longer when there is no

available seat. How to provide an easier way for reservation?

2.The Clash of Burgers has only one waiter who took all the order manually,

therefore the customer take too long to wait for their orders. How to provide tools that

will make the waiter work easier?

3.The store is closed on holidays. A new customer wants to drop by for some

inquiries. How to notify the customer automatically to remind for the schedule of the

store?

Objective of the Study

Generally, the study aims to make a Clash Of Burgers Online Reservation and Inquiry

with SMS Notification.

Specifically, the study aims to:

1. gathering data by conducting interviews;

2. plan and design a system that help every customer to inquire in the store;

3. build other features such as Account Module, Schedule Module, Inquiries Module,

Order Module/Admin Module;

4. test and evaluate the system according to its use;

Significance of the Study

The Store Clash Of Burgers Online Reservation and Inquiry with SMS Notification for

Clash Of Burgers will be helpful to the following:

The web and the system will help the patient in reserving appointments in

the store. With the use of Clash Of Burgers Online Reservation and Inquiry with SMS

Notification. First, the customer will receive a SMS notification that will send if the

person’s reservation is available and approved. Second, the SMS notification will be

send every 7 am to the reserved customer until the day of the appointment of that person

it will serve as a reminder. The notification will send again to the reserved customer one

(1) hour before their reservation time as a reminder.

Time and Place of the Study

The study started on August 2018 at Cavite State University-Imus Campus

located at Land Transportation Office (LTO) Compound at Emilio Aguinaldo highway,

Imus City, Cavite. An interview was conducted at the faculty of the Department of

Information Technology, on August 2018. The Clash Of Burgers can be found at Block

22 Lot 3 Meadowood Executive Village, Bacoor City, Cavite. The concept of the study

is to make a Clash Of Burgers Online Reservation and Inquiry with SMS Notification for Clash

Of Burgers, and to make their work more efficient.

Scope and Limitation

This research will provide specific information about Clash Of Burgers. This

includes the features of account module, reservation module, inquiries module, order

module. The admin is the only one that has an access in the system and this system is an

online-based and the system doesn't cover all of the funds and expenses of the store.

Account Module. This will have two levels of access. The first will be for the

admin and the customers for the second level of access. The admin is fully responsible

for monitoring and maintaining the website since they have access on some modules

which are hidden on log in form for the patients. It will also allow every level of access to

register to the system customers or patients. The adding of new customers in the database

will be done by filling up an application form which will be recorded to the database and

the proposed system will automatically generate an ID number for each customer that

will also serve as a proof that the customer has a record or not. The customer or the user

will give then personal information such as name, address, age, email address, nickname,

occupation, and contact number. In terms of security, the proposed system will include a

log-in form. The log in form for the customers only displays limited information. If the

user is not a registered member no possible transaction can be done viewing the whole

website.

Reservation Module. The appointment book is a feature where the system will

send a notification for the reservation or the appointment of each customer. Only the

registered customer can receive a SMS notification. The SMS notification will be

automatically sent if the reservation is available and approved, the verification can also

be sent thru email.

Inquiries Module.

Order Module. The admin can view all the transactions and all orders on the form,

order history. This module helps to keep the records of each customer.
