 INTRODUCTION

These days, with the rapid rise of popularity of the web development official
website of any product would be easier to reach to particularly that product; as
official website of Lakme will help the consumers to buy the exact and the original
product that they want.

As we know that lakme is a vast brand having a lot of variety in a single type of
product. Any another online website cannot have all the variety of the products that
anyone wants .so buying from the official website would be a very better choice.

The Large amount of Options to choose from:

You can easily choose the exact product according to your range from the official
website .You not need to forcefully buy the beauty products from a very little
range of varieties.

Reduces duplicacy:

As we all know that before the official launching of the products launching of
duplicate products takes place which are very harmful for every girl. So buying the
beauty products from the official website of the brand will decrease the rate of
duplicacy.

Saves You Time:

Every product of particular brand is not easily available at the shops. So rather
than finding the different products on different shops anyone can directly buy the
desired product from the official website of the product.

Our main focus is to provide awareness about the duplicate products that
are in the market which can causes skin disease or burn to the skin.

Objective:

The main objective of the project is to create an Official website of the

Lakme brand that allows the customers to buy the original products from
the website rather than buying the duplicate products from the market.

 TOOLS AND TECHNIQUES USED

HTML

HTML is a markup language that web browsers use to interpret

and compose text, images, and other material into visual or audible web
pages. Default characteristics for every item of HTML markup are
defined in the browser, and these characteristics can be altered or
enhanced by the web page designer's additional use of CSS. Many of the
text elements are found in the 1988 ISO technical report TR
9537 Techniques for using SGML, which in turn covers the features of
early text formatting languages such as that used by the RUNOFF
command developed in the early 1960s for the CTSS (Compatible Time-
Sharing System) operating system: these formatting commands were
derived from the commands used by typesetters to manually format
documents. However, the SGML concept of generalized markup is
based on elements (nested annotated ranges with attributes) rather than
merely print effects, with also the separation of structure and markup;
HTML has been progressively moved in this direction with CSS.
Berners-Lee considered HTML to be an application of SGML. It was
formally defined as such by the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF)
with the mid-1993 publication of the first proposal for an HTML
specification, the "Hypertext Markup Language (HTML)" Internet Draft
by Berners-Lee and Dan Connolly, which included an SGML Document
type definition to define the grammar. The draft expired after six
months, but was notable for its acknowledgment of the NCSA
Mosaic browser's custom tag for embedding in-line images, reflecting
the IETF's philosophy of basing standards on successful prototypes.
Similarly, Dave Raggett's competing Internet-Draft, "HTML+
(Hypertext Markup Format)", from late 1993, suggested standardizing
already-implemented features like tables and fill-out forms.
After the HTML and HTML+ drafts expired in early 1994, the IETF
created an HTML Working Group, which in 1995 completed "HTML

2.0", the first HTML specification intended to be treated as a standard
against which future implementations should be based.
Further development under the auspices of the IETF was stalled by
competing interests. Since 1996, the HTML specifications have been
maintained, with input from commercial software vendors, by the World
Wide Web Consortium (W3C). However, in 2000, HTML also became
an international standard (ISO/IEC 15445:2000). HTML 4.01 was
published in late 1999, with further errata published through 2001. In
2004, development began on HTML5 in the Web Hypertext Application
Technology Working Group (WHATWG), which became a joint
deliverable with the W3C in 2008, and completed and standardized on
28 October 2014.

ADVANTAGES OF HTML
1. HTML is Easy to Learn and Use
HTML is very easy to learn and understand. For the one who is learning
web development, HTML is the first and foremost language that the
person will go through. It has simple tags and there is no hectic of case
sensitivity in HTML.

2. HTML is Free
One of the biggest advantages of HTML is that it is free of cost and
there is no need to purchase specific software. One should not have to
deal with different plugins required to work on any software as HTML
does not require any plugins.

3. HTML is Supported by all Browsers

Almost all the browsers around the globe are supported by HTML. So
there is no need to worry about the website written in HTML for the
browser support as the website would easily show up in all the browsers
if the program keeps in mind to optimize the website for the different
browsers.

4. HTML is the Most Friendly Search Engine

HTML is one of the most friendly search engines in comparison to all
the programming languages available in the market (Search Engine
friendly means delivering users quality websites with relevant
information when searched for a particular oneLets us Move to the next

5. HTML is Simple to Edit

HTML is very easy to edit as there is no need to have a special interface
or platform to edit it. It is written in simple Notepad and hence can be
simply edited in any text editor like Notepad, Notepad++, etc.

DISADVANTAGES OF HTML

1 Insufficient for Dynamic Pages-Back in the early days of the

World Wide Web, no one expected a Web page to do anything besides
displaying static words and images, much like a book does. Nowadays,
Internet users expect more out of their favorite websites, from infinite
scrolling pages such as the Twitter timeline to search boxes that
automatically generate suggestions based on input.

2 Limited for Displaying Content-HTML is a structuring language
that allows you to attach a virtual label to sections of your content. For
example, adding an tag around a section of your page instructs Web
browsers to treat that section as an article. While it does a great job at
structuring content, HTML falls short when it comes to showcasing that
content by displaying it in an aesthetically pleasing manner. To
circumvent that limitation, a separate language had to be invented to
handle the presentation of Web pages -- Cascading Style Sheets.

3 Difficult to Learn-Anyone who wishes to create a website using

HTML code may spend weeks first just learning HTML. With each
major release, HTML becomes more complex and new tags are added
while others are deprecated, forcing Web developers to spend valuable
time learning how to implement the newly added features.

APPLICATION:

 Web pages development: HTML is heavily used for creating

pages that are displayed on the world wide web . Every page
contains a set of HTML tags including hyperlinks which are used
for connecting to other pages. Every page that we witness, on the
world wide web , is written using a version of HTML code.
 Web document creation: Document creation on the internet is
dominated by HTML and its basic concept via tag and DOM i.e.
document object model. HTML tags are inserted before and
afterward or phrases to locate their format and location on the
page. A web document consists of three sections:

 CONCLUSION

The conclusion for online official website (LAKME)is that it is

very convenient and relatively cheap. You are able to buy the
products directly from the official without any problem and
wasting your.

LIMITATIONS

A disadvantage would be that you require internet access.

Though internet access is widespread these days, it remains true

that one of the disadvantages of online official website are their
dependencies on an internet connection. In order to buy products
through an online website, your customers will have to have
access to the internet. This can be on their smartphone, tablet,
computer, laptop or any other internet-enabled device.

 FUTURE SCOPE

As Project is completed but still it is not perfect, we have

planned to make some enhancement in the future.

We think that our app website has potential to grow We will

include more function to Project like :
