Macaraig due to a case for declaration of the nullity of their marriage on the ground
of Psychological incapacity of Ma. Elena Fernandez.

-Millon Clinical Multiaxial Inventory-III (MCMI)
The MCMI is a 175 true-false objective personality test designed to
assess personality style, presence of specific symptom patterns, and the
presence of severe mental disorders. The MCMI also has validity scales
that evaluate the attitude with which the individual answered the test
questions.

-Personality Assessment Inventory (PAI)

The PAI is a 344 item objective personality test designed to assess 4

validity indicators, 11 clinical scales, 5 treatment consideration scales,
and 2 interpersonal style scales, as well as a number of more specific
subscales.

Background:

Mr. Valerio Kalaw is married to Ma. Elena Fernandez. They met and they
maintained a relationship. They were blessed with four children, Valerio, Maria Eva,
Ramon Miguel, and Jaime Teodoro, all surnamed Kalaw.

After nine years of separation de facto from her wife, Valerio filed a civil case
for declaration of nullity of their marriage on the ground of her wife’s psychological
incapacity.

Findings:

Ma. Elena Fernandez was also evaluated by the court appointed social worker,
JOCELYN V. ARRE, which yielded the findings that the custody of the minor
children be awarded to the her, based on the interviews of family members
themselves, the examinee has shown to be more available to the children and to
exercise better supervision and care. The examiner commended the fact that even
after the examinee left the conjugal home, she made efforts to visit her children
clandestinely in their respective schools. And while she was only granted weekend
custody of the children, it appeared that she made efforts to personally attend to their
needs and to devote time with them
