DESCRIPTION
At the launch of the F series wheel loader the axle fluid specification change changed from AMBRA TRX 80W-140/
AKCELA TRANSAXLE FLUID 80W-140 to AMBRA MULTI G 134™ HYDRAULIC TRANSMISSION OIL/AKCELA
NEXPLORE™ FLUID .
It now transpires that on the F series there are a significantly higher number of axle limited slip and brake noise
concerns compared to E series.
To coincide with this change of axle fluid specification CASE CONSTRUCTION also eliminated the first axle fluid
change at 100 machine hours.
NOTE: For further information with regard to the noise from the drive axles refer to the service bulletin
2013 - 017 CASE N SB .

Service instruction
For all new retail sales of F series wheel loaders, replace the factory fill with AMBRA TRX 80W-140/AKCELA
TRANSAXLE FLUID 80W-140 after the first 100 hours of operation.
On all previously retailed F series wheel loaders, use AMBRA TRX 80W-140/AKCELA TRANSAXLE FLUID
80W-140 for all future axle fluid change intervals:
The axle fluid change interval for AMBRA TRX 80W-140/AKCELA TRANSAXLE FLUID 80W-140 change is 1000
hours. For severe duty applications the axle fluid change interval is 500 hours.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Operating with AMBRA MULTI G 134™ HYDRAULIC TRANSMISSION OIL/AKCELA NEXPLORE™ FLUID or ZF
POWERFLUID PLUS does not have any effect on axle component durability and/or/ reliability. The effect of operating
with the factory fill is development of limited slip and/or brake noise as described in 2013 - 017 CASE N SB .
In cases where limited-slip differential and/or brake noise develops prematurely, CASE CONSTRUCTION recom-
mends:
• an axle fluid sample analysis
• an additional axle fluid check for moisture content
When you have the results of the analysis, contact the CASE CONSTRUCTION technical specialists via an ASIST
report.
NOTE: This change of fluid specification does not affect the transmission fluid or the transmission fluid change
interval.
