FAMILY DAY CELEBRATION

1. Pursuant to Presidential Proclamation No. 647, “Declaring the Month of October of

Every Year as the National Statistics Month,” the NSM aims to promote, enhance, and
instill awareness and appreciation of the importance and value of statistics to different
sectors of society. This is also in response to the Memorandum Circular No. 2019-07
enjoining all agencies to actively participate and support the 30th National Statistics
Month Celebration and the yearly Philippine Civil Service commemoration of the
enactment of Public Law No. 5 “An Act Establishing and Maintenance of an Efficient
and Honest Civil Service in the Philippine Islands”.

2. Anent this, SDO Sultan Kudarat will actively participate and support the programs
of the oversight agencies through the conduct of the two-day activity on October 17-18,
2019 at Kulaman 1 District, Senator Ninoy Aquino, Sultan Kudarat.

3. The activities include: (a) Lectures on Employees Discipline by CSC RXII, (b) Outreach
Activity and Gift Giving, (c) Free Medical and Dental Check-up, (d) Sports Activities, (e) Laro
ng Lahi, (f) Zumba Contest, and (g) Statistics Quiz Bowl.

4. The Office also informs the concerned division employees to prepare and bring the
following: (1) Jersey Uniform with name and number to be used during day 1, (2) IP/Ethnic
Inspired attire during the evening awarding and socialization activities, (3) CSC Kick-off Gold
Uniform during day 2, (4) Blanket/Malong and Pillow, (5) Personal Hygiene Kit, (6) Walking
and Zumba Attire, and (7) Used clothes for kids and toys for the outreach activity

5. Attached is the activity matrix and guidelines of the activities.
