Believing the saying, "No man is an island", Humans are always in search for a

companion. Someone to be with. Someone who will accompany you throughout your life.
Someone who stays. A companion which can be a human or an animal.

In reality, we always choose between two things, two person, or two answers in just one
question. Left or right? him or her? Dogs or Cats? Which one is the better companion? A Dog
or a Cat?

Year 2015 the study of Elijah Bergroth MD, entitled respiratory track illness: effects of
Dogs and cats Contact, shows that children who owns a dog have fewer infections, and are
prescribed less antibiotics compared to children owning a cat that doesn’t appear to reduce the
number of infections.

Furthermore, Debbie, a Master of Science major in epidemiology, explained that Dog

owners are less obese and more physically active than people who don’t own dogs. How?

an 11% risk of cardiovascular disease was reduced. In connection to this, dogs can help us start
new relationships by making us socialize to other dog owners or a person the dog just run into.

Now, most of us certainly knows that a dog is a man's bestfriend. But how does such title
is given to a dog?

3 years ago, Ally Nesmith, a writer in barkpost, answered this question. According to Ally,
the phrase mans bestfriend was coined last September 23, year 1870 in a US trial, by the
lawyer George Graham Vest for the eulogy of "Old Drum". Old drum is the name of a dog
murdered by Leonidas Hornsby in cold blood. Lawyer Vest, in his closing argument and I quote:

The one absolutely unselfish friend that a man can have in this selfish world, the one
that never deserts him and the one that never proves ungrateful or treacherous is his dog.

Gentlemen of the jury: A man’s dog stands by him in prosperity and in poverty, in health

Do cats have these reasonable meanings for building monuments for them other than
being a prolific mice catcher or lucky charm?

Merriam Webster explains that Best means excelling among others. Dogs being the mas
bestfriend.

If time changes everything why is it up until today a dog is still a man's bestfriend?
Scrutinize , Dogs contribute for the betterment of all aspects of our lives, social, physical
,emotional and intellectual. Dogs will not just benefit your present, but also your future because
future is everything you do in the present.

Humans are always in search for a companion. A companion which can be a human or
an animal. Humans are like dogs and cats. We can be the real bestfriend or the want to be.
Choose to be the man's bestfriend. Choose to be a dog rather than to be a cat because dogs
are better companions than cats.
