Activity Description Time Allocation


Preliminary 1. Classes are opened with greetings, asking for news, 5 minutes
and checking student attendance.
2. The class is continued by prayer led by one of the
students.
3. Students are invited to sing Indonesian Raya Songs.
The teacher provides reinforcement about the
importance of instilling the spirit of nationalism.
4. Students are asked to check the neatness and
readiness of the class.
5. The teacher associates lessons with students
understanding with any questions:
a. Have you ever been around in the neighboorhod?
b. Have you ever seen public places in your
neighborhood?
6. The teacher explains the theme of the day is about
“Public Places”.
7. Students pay attention to the teacher's explanation of
the objectives, benefits, and learning activities that will
be carried out.
Core 1. The teacher shows the floor plan and map to the 20 minutes
activities students.
2. The teacher explains what the plan and map are,
then students identify the differences between the two
objects.
3. The teacher practices singing songs "the direction
of the wind" and invites students to sing together.
4. After singing, students are asked to mention
anything that includes the direction of the wind while
pointing to that direction by rotating his/her body.
5. After knowing the various wind direction, students
observe the Malaka Jaya area plan given by the
teacher.
6. After understanding the floor plan, the teacher
invites students to play looking for a place game.
7. The teacher and students together look for a place
using the plan they have. The trip starts from the field
heading to the central park.
8. Arriving at the bus stop, students do other activities,
namely make a miniature of public building from
paper.
Closing 1. Students with teachers reflect on ongoing learning: 10 minutes
• What has been learned from today's activity?
• How do you feel when you read the plan and the
cardinal direction, and make a models of public
building?
• What activities do you like the most?
2. Students and teachers conclude the results of
learning today.
3. The class closes with a prayer together led by one
of the students.
