Introduction

Al-Ahsa is a new brand, that focuses on high quality luxury cosmetics. The brand will
have an Arabic theme, but will be primary produced and sold in Indonesia. We also
intend to from a company in Dubai which will hold all trademarks etc.

We intend to break the project up into different stages of payment on completion.

To begin with the brand will introduce one product, a bar off soap, but the website
must be able to introduce different brands, under different sub-categories and edit
general text from an administrator page without requiring a web developer.

The brands theme, is black and gold. With an expensive look and feel. The website
needs to be designed to the highest standards.

The website needs to be PC and Mobile friendly.

The products will be sold through networking marketing, a login section is required
for resellers and sellers and a system to manage all relationships.

The website will likely not need a shopping cart, as many Indonesians don’t have a
suitable card to carry out transactions.

Business Plan

Al-Ahsa products are cosmetic products manufactured and sold in Indonesia, under an Arabic brand name that will be eventually registered in the United
Arab Emirates. This theme of branding will add an exotic consumer feel to the product, if it was just an Indonesian.

The product will be sold through network marketing, an informal system of resellers.

To ensure that consumer price remains stable, every seller must be registered and is given a random 8-digit seller id number. This id number must be
available to check on the website for consumers, to ensure they are obtaining product from a legitimate source. Resellers caught selling below the target
price will be banned from selling the product in the future.

The minimum trade amount is 1 carton of product, in the case of soap there are 144 bars in a carton.
Reseller Types

Agent – Buys product directly from the company, through banked staff via interacting with website/telephone

Prime Agent – A prime agent is able to act like a middleman, by recruiting new resellers and gaining a commission on the quantity sold over the month
from their recruited agents. There is no limit to the number of Agents and Prime Agent can have. Monthly dates are always from the start of a month to the
end of the month, not when they joined.

Backend Staff – Backend staff deal with Prime Agent and Agent enquires and management, taking orders, managing accounts, explaining about the
product.

Admin – Amin has full control of the website, account creation, data, adding products to website, etc.

Warehouse – Warehouse is able to see how much product to distribute to what location, multiple warehouses in multiple cities. Warehouses can only see
completed orders. Warehouses can input stock amount. If all stock is sold, backend staff and agents are notified that no stock is left. Backend staff can
monitor the stock levels and prepare agents if stock is low.

Payment System

The payment system that we have envisaged will be disconnected from the bank, and will need to be approved manually by the Admin (The admin only, to
prevent corruption with back office staff)

Due to Indonesia’s, high reliance on cash and the absence of internet friendly debit/credit cards. The primary means of transfer will be via bank transfer.
The admin must watch two tabs, one with the internet banking screen open and the second from the website interface. The admin will be able to see when
an order has been placed and then can wait to match the approved order manually. Once marked approved, the order is viewable at the warehouse
distribution point and sent on for shipping.
Options

Design for Consumer Packaging – Possibly still need a design for packaging, please ask client.

App Development – Instead of a website-based backend management, an Android /IOS app could be developed. Or this could be developed later to work
in parallel with the web-based UI.

Bank Transfer Detection – A script could be developed to detect incoming bank transfers from known bank accounts and automatically approve them for
shipping.

Indomart Payment System – Indomart is a chain of convenience stores across Indonesia and is used to pay for a wide range of items in cash. The system
allows consumers to purchase online, and then a unique code is produced. The consumer has 24hours to go to an Indomart and pay for the good or service
in cash.
Website Phases

The website is to be built in phases with payment made on completion at various points.

Phase 1 – Agreement on hosting solution, implementation of a basic under construction page.


Phase 2 – Design of professional a layout, with backend ability for editing content in admin sections, ability to change text and add new products.
Phase 3 – Implementation of account types and backend user interface.
Phase 4 – Implementation of options, such as automatic bank transfer recognition.
