Study of Operational Amplifier (Op-Amp)

Aim: To study working of various Op-Amp circuits.

Apparatus:
1. Voltage Source
2. CRO/Multi-meter
3. Breadboard
4. Connecting Wires
5. Resistor – 560, 1k, 2.2k, 3.3k Ohm
6. Op-Amp (IC µA741) – 2 no.
Pin configuration of 741 IC:

Procedure:
1. Connect the circuit as shown in each figure above.
2. Manually calculate the output voltage for each circuit for a given input.
3. Observe and compare the measured output voltages with theoretical values obtained in
step-2, for the same input voltages.
4. Using various combinations of resistors, verify the calculated values of output voltages of
each circuit with the measured values.
5. Tabulate various combinations and results.
Note: The ground terminal of Vin and common terminal of ±Vs have to be shorted.
