Topic Description: This topic deals about the disease-condition acute glomerulonephritis. Also included are the
assessment and diagnostic findings, nursing care management, as well as medical, in relation to the disease
process.

Central Objective: At the end of a 1-hour discussion, learners shall gain comprehensive knowledge and
understanding, acquire necessary skills and develop right attitudes about the disease- condition acute
glumerulonephritis, its causes, pathophysiology, clinical manifestations, assessment and diagnostic findings,
and the appropriate nursing and medical interventions. It will also assist the learners to apply effectively the
acquired knowledge with proper judgment to the clinical setting.
