I think Night Lords are the only currently army that have dedicated de-buffing abilities, which is

awesome. Especially when you think about how many armies heavily rely upon auras abilities
and overlapping strategems.

My go to thought with Night Lords is a 2 units of Raptors, a Max Unit of Warp Talons along with a
Lord with Claws Stormbolt plate and +2 to charges, Host Raptoral. Drop in, 3D6 charge
everything in range with Raptors with the bonus's to charge, tie up everything with no
overwatch then stop them from retreating, Send Raptors in support. That's a turn 2 shut down of
a whole Tau army as now none of their army can retreat and you have a near guaranteed charge.
Stick Mark of Nurgle on the Raptors with the banners plus hit the Aura off switch and now they
cannot stop retreats and morale check fails. That's actually quite nasty.

Yep that applies to shooting as well. Combo that with Endless Cacophony, VoTLW, and the +1S &
+1 damage sonic weapons stratagem, and EC have the potential to delete just about anything
they want. Perfection!

Host raptorial night lords detachment, jump pack chaos lord with the spoopy murder sword relic
or a thunder hammer, a block of Khornate raptors and warp talons.

On the drop, 3d6 charge strat for the warp talons +2 from HR for tagging all the things, nope
someone's aura ability say feirros or that tau overwatch thingy, let's get cheeky and drop
something into cover near the lord for +4 (+2/+2) to charge with the strat for charging from
cover in addition.

Throw a daemon prince as the main warlord in a different detachment with the slaanesh
daemon claws and d3 attacks trait, and this spoopy boy can get up to 14 attacks on the charge or
bare minimum he gets the same as he did if he didn't have the shenanigans. Lob diabolic
strength on him because you're that guy.

Yeah I'm definitely happy with this book, even if it makes CSM a little hungry for CP most folks
can get out a battalion and another little detachment
