3. Choose 1 vehicle and explain why the vehicle is selected.

For this project, our team has chosen grade E of Honda Jazz 1.4L. Grade E has a better specialty than grade
S. One of them is grade E has High-Definition Multimedia Interface Port (HDMI Port). HDMI port is a
proprietary audio interface for transmitting uncompressed video data and compressed on uncompressed
digital audio data from an HDMI compliant source device such as a display controller, to a compatible
computer monitor, video projector, or digital television. In the meanwhile, Honda Jazz in grade S only has
USB port while Honda Jazz in grade E have both, HDMI port and USB port.

Secondly, grade E has Emergency Stop Signal while grade S does not. Emergency Stop Signal is useful
in an emergency such as sudden braking on the motorway, warning surrounding drivers is crucial to avoid
a potential collision. The Emergency Stop Signal automatically activates the brake and Hazard warning
lights when it detects an emergency stop situation. The other equipment that only grade E has is Hill Start
Assist (HSA). HSA is a feature that automatically holds a car in place when it detects the car is resting on a
hill. It’s designed to prevent the car from rolling and the driver from having to quickly get their food from
the brake pedal to the gas pedal.
Next, Honda Jazz grade E has the Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA) which can help to stabilize the vehicle
during cornering if the car turns more or less than desired. It also can assist in maintaining traction while
accelerating on loose or slippery road surfaces.it does this by regulating the engine’s output, and by
selectively applying braking.

Therefore, Honda Jazz Grade E has Side Airbags or Side-Impact Airbags. The Airbags usually located in
the seat or door panel, and inflate between the seat occupant and the door. These Airbags are designed
to reduce the risk of injury to the pelvis and lower abdomen regions. The grade E also has Hands-Free
Telephone Steering Switch Control. This equipment uses Bluetooth technology to communicate with
driver’s handset and enables wire-free interaction between car and phone. Hands-Free Telephone is
controlled by two buttons mounted on the steering wheel.

Other than that, Grade E has Steering Wheel Audio Control that are designed to make it less dangerous
to interact with the car radio when driving. The basic idea is that driver can use these controls without
taking their hands off the steering the steering wheel or taking their eyes of the road. Lastly, Honda Jazz
Grade E has multi-angle rearview camera which let the driver to choose from three different angles, -
normal, top-wide, bottom, for better view behind everytime the driver move in reverse
