Nonetheless, if Orchestrator is not used, only 2 standalone licensing models are available: Named User and Node Locked. Both licenses can be activated and used on a single machine. On the one hand, the Named U: license makes the software available to a single designated User. The Node Locked license, on the other hand, allows multiple users to work successively ‘on a machine using the same software instance. Again, the latter option is mainly designed to cover the scenario of employees working in shifts. Both licensing options are available for Studio and Attended Robots. For Unattended Robots, the only available model is the Node Locked one. Before we wrap up, we must draw attention upon several facts.
