1. Does Unica Campaign provide any Analytics based on responses?

No, It doesn’t provide analytic capability based on responses.

Unica-Interact has built in(Optional) analytic capability that helps it to present offer to
customer based on previous responses.

2. Is Unica Net-Insight part of Unica Suite, How Unica provide predictive analytic
capability?

Earlier Unica had Net-Insight , It was withdrawn in 2013 without any replacement in its
portfolio and is no longer supported –
Future Roadmap : “Q1-2020 - HCL-Unica post V12.0, will provide integration capability
with other existing modelling tool and not the modelling/predictive analytics capability.
Client can have any predictive analytics tool(available) and HCL Software is not providing
any package in this regard.”
Q1-2021 – This will be part of Unica Package

3. Does Unica provide integration with Hybris?

Yes, As long as any e-Commerce platform can invoke Interact API and make request/Response ,
it can be integrated.

Unica integrations fall into two categories:

- Metadata (content, product catalog, DAM-Digital Asset management) feeds into Unica to
enable rich offer setup
- Real time integration with eCommerce web sites including
o Offer recommendations
o Contact and response logging
4. Details about Unica Dockerization and number of containers.
Each of the Unica product(Campaign,Interact,MO,Optimize) is in its own container with the
below exception/comments.

1. Each Campaign listener is in its own container, separated from Campaign web application.
Hence, if there are n listeners (as a cluster), there will be n listener containers.
2. Interact design time runs inside Campaign web application, so it does not has its own
container.
3. Each Interact run time has its own container.

When installing this offering, uses will be able to choose which product to install and how many
Campaign listener/Interact run time instances to deploy, and the script will take care of that
automatically.

5. What is “Unica as a Service”?


Unica in a “cloud based environment for you as a managed service” is NOT SaaS. It is still on
premises software just placed on machines in a cloud environment.

It will NOT be a “multi-tenant” solution which most SaaS solutions are.

It will be the Unica software hosted in the cloud solution of your choice either AWS or
Azure. Just don’t call it SaaS. BUT our services team can manage all of the maintenance and
support (if they want) so that part appears much as a SaaS solution to the client.
6. Unica is on-Premise or Cloud?

Unica is available on premise as well as Cloud based on customer preferences.

7. Is Unica available on Azure Cloud?


Yes, It is available on Azure as well as AWS.

8. Which Operating system is compatible with Unica?


Unix/Windows/AIX
9. Can Unica be integrated with CRM ?

Yes, unica can be integrated with CRM.
