Project: Static Structural Analysis of Transfer Case Housing


 Structural analysis of Transfer Case housing subjected to load cases such as chain pull, front thrust, rear thrust, skid torque and
radial imbalance
 Contact setup among different components of transfer case
 Elastic-plastic material stress-strain curve generation using plasticity modulus K and exponent n
 Identify critical locations on the transfer case housing and do mesh convergence study for stresses at these location

Project: Static Structural Analysis of Differential Housing of electric vehicles


 Structural analysis of differential housing subjected to load cases such as maximum torque load, drive load and coast load
 Contact setup among sun, ring, planet and differential gears of Differential housing as per the load direction
 Verify torque reaction as per the gear ratio and axial thrust as per right hand thumb rule for helical gears

 Perform pre-stress modal, harmonic and acoustic analysis on Transfer Case analysis

temperatures and thus reduce the thermal stresses.

Responsibility:

Project: Design & Development of LCA press


Objective:
 To develop a low cost automation (Hydro-pneumatic) press. This press is used to press oil seal & oil slinger plate into the front
cover of gearbox. Initially it was pressed manually with the help of hammer which used to cause injuries to the operator. Now
with the development of press operator safety and cycle time reduction has been done.
Responsibility:
 Design of pneumatic and Hydro-pneumatic circuits.
 Pressure, force and flow rate calculations.
 Selection of standard actuators, flow control valve and pilot operated check valve.

Assignment: Facility planning for Kitting of gearbox assembly line.


Responsibility:
 Selection of components for kitting.
 Design of brackets for rear cover and rear half.
 Preparing request for quotation (RFQ) for kitting crates.
 Time study and process study for gearbox assembly line.
 Preparing activity chart matrix using time study and process study techniques for offline fitment activities.
 Preparing proposals and process plan for offline fitment activities.
