International conference on Food drug and cosmetics(ICFDC-2020) is a world-wide
podium that combines different spheres, stimulate the exchange of ideas and
enable participants to grasp the latest developments and ideas in different areas of
Food Technology, drug development and cosmetology. It will serve as a great
opportunity to improve knowledge and skills in the relevant field through various
research experience and presentations. It also helps to gain a view about career
development and future endeavors. This conference is intended for exchange of
knowledge and ideas in the application of neutraceuticals, biopharmaceuticals,
cosmetology and functional food towards improving quality of life of an individual. It
is organised by Lincoln University College, Malaysia. The University is a SETARA
5star rated institution awarded by Ministry of higher education, Malaysia.

THEME: Innovation and Challenges in Nutraceutical, Pharmaceutical and


Cosmeceutical.

Authors will be provided with presentation certificate & conference abstract


proceedings.

Submission Guidelines
The researchers are invited to submit their abstracts (250 words) mentioning the
mode of presentation (Oral / Poster) with keywords, affiliation, email, phone
number. All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another
journal or conference.

All the selected abstracts will be published as conference proceedings. The


extended edited version of the presented papers in the conference will be published
in The Malaysian Journal of Nursing (MJN) (ISSN: 2231-7007; e ISSN: 2462-246X)
Malaysian Journal of Medical Research (MJMR) (eISSN: 2550-1607), International
Journal of Food, Drug and Cosmetics(IJFDC) (ISSN:2682-8391).The editor reserves
the right to choose the journal as per relevance and subject of the paper. All
selected full paper submission will be submitted to scopus indexed journal for
publication.

BEST paper award will be presented for both Oral and Poster presentation.

Guidelines for Poster Presentation:

All posters will be assigned a poster number.Presenters must locate their assigned
poster display, which will be numbered, and hang their poster at least 15 minutes
before the poster session.

 All posters should be prepared in advance and brought to the conference by


the presenters. The conference organizers are NOT able to receive any
posters by mail in advance, print or transport posters.
 There will NOT be facilities on-site for printing or composing posters.
 No audiovisual equipment is permitted for poster presentations.
 If you choose to bring handouts, we recommend you bring
approximately 100 copies and provide contact information (i.e., author
names and email addresses) on the handout.
 Each poster should be no larger than A0 paper size measuring 84.1 cm
(width) × 118.9 cm (height) or 33.1 inches (width) × 46.8 inches (height).
 Each presenter is allowed one poster and each poster will have its own
display area.

Guidelines for Submission of Full paper in other Journals :

Articles should contain approximately 1000 to 4000 words. Shorter or longer


submissions may be submitted upon approval from the editor.

submit your abstract.

Author Guidelines

Manuscript Format
The preferred format of all manuscript is MS Word. Illustrations (figures) and
images must be inserted in the manuscript at the position they should appear when
published.

Preparation of Manuscript
Mode of Presenting Paper is English. Each manuscript should be typed single-
spaced on A4 (8.5″ × 11″) paper size with 1 inch margins. It should be arranged in
the following order: Title, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Materials and Methods,
Results, Discussion, Conclusion, Acknowledgement and References.

Title Page
Title page should contain title of the paper in bold face, title case (font size 14),
names of the authors in normal face, upper case (font size 12) followed by the
address in normal face lower case. The author to whom all correspondence be
addressed should be denoted by an asterisk mark. The title should be as short as
possible and precisely indicate the nature of the work in the communication. Names
of the authors should appear as initials followed by surnames. At the bottom left
corner of the title page, please mention “*Address For correspondence” and provide
a functional e-mail address. Address of the corresponding author to whom all
correspondence may be sent should be given only if it is different from the address
already given under authors’ names.

Abstract
The abstract should not have more than 250 words and should start on a new page
after the title page and should be typed in single-space to distinguish it from the
Introduction. It should be Abstract should not be structured. Abstract must be
followed by four-six keywords. Abstracts should briefly reflect all aspects of the
study, as most databases list mainly abstracts.

Keywords
Provide four to six appropriate key words after abstract

Introduction
A short introduction of the research problem followed by a brief review of literature
and objective of the research.

Materials and Methods


Describe the materials used in the experiment, year of experimentation, site etc.
Describe the methods implied for collection of data in short.

Results and Discussion


This segment should focus on the fulfillment of stated objectives as given in the
introduction. It should contain the findings presented in the form of tables, figures
and photographs.
References
References should be numbered consecutively in the order in which they are first
mentioned in the text (not in alphabetic order). Identify references in text, tables,
and legends by Arabic numerals in square bracket after the punctuation marks.
