4. There are some verbs which are both progressive and non-progressive.
What are they ? Give 5 examples !
= The progressive verb tense, also called the continuous tense, is an English verb tense
used to describe continuing actions—actions that are in progress and ongoing. It can be
conjugated to be used in the past, present, or future.
Non progressive/non continuous verbs are verbs that we do not normally use with
continuous tenses. These "stative" verbs are about state, not action, and they cannot
express the continuous or progressive aspect.
Example :
Have
a. Non-Progressive = I am having black hair incorrect
b. Progressive = I am having problems correct
a. Non-Progressive =
Lihat, hari sedang hujan. Burung-burung sedang terbang ke sangkarnya. Orang-orang sedang
berteduh di bawah pohon. Anak-anak sedang berlarian menghindari hujan. Mereka sedang
berteduh di bawah pohon beringin. Air hujan berjatuhan ke tanah.
