7. What is adverb of frequency ? Explain It !


And write the order of adverb of frequency from 100% - 0%
= Adverb of frequency are adverbs that change or qualify the meaning of a sentence by
telling us how often or how frequently something happens. Adverbs of frequency always
describe how often something occurs, either in definite or indefinite terms. An adverb
that describes definite frequency is one such as weekly, daily, or yearly. An adverb
describing indefinite frequency doesn’t specify an exact time frame; examples are
sometimes, often, and rarely.

These are called adverbs of frequency and include:

8. What is the function of adverb of frequency in Simple Present Tense !


Adverbs of frequency typically modify verbs, or action words, and show how often an
action happens in simple present tense. They're usually used with verbs in the simple
present tense.

2. What is the function of Present Continues Tense ?


= The present continuous (also called present progressive) is a verb tense which is used
to show that an ongoing action is happening now, either at the moment of speech or
now in a larger sense. The present continuous can also be used to show that an action is
going to take place in the near future.

3. What is Non-Progressive Verbs ?


Explain ! And give examples by inserting the verbs in sentences (10 )
= Non progressive/non continuous verbs are verbs that we do not normally use with
continuous tenses. These "stative" verbs are about state, not action, and they cannot
express the continuous or progressive aspect.

4. There are some verbs which are both progressive and non-progressive.
What are they ? Give 5 examples !
= The progressive verb tense, also called the continuous tense, is an English verb tense
used to describe continuing actions—actions that are in progress and ongoing. It can be
conjugated to be used in the past, present, or future.
Non progressive/non continuous verbs are verbs that we do not normally use with

up and (see) saw an orange and gray bird. After a few moments, it (fly) flew away.

During the afternoon, we (do) did many things. First we (take) took a long walk.
When we (get) got back to our picnic table, I (read) read a book, and Larry, who (be) was an
artist, (draw) was drawing pictures. Later we (play) were playing a game of chess. Larry (win)
won the first game, but I (win) won the second one. Then he (teach) taught me how to play
a new game, one with dice. While we (play) were playing this new game, one of the dice
(fall) fell from the picnic table onto the ground. We finally (find) found it in some tall grass.

In the evening, we (join) joined a huge crowd to watch the fireworks display. The
fireworks (be) were beautiful. Some of the explosions (be) were very loud, however. They
(hurt) hurt my ears. When the display (be) was over, we (leave) left. All in all, it (be) was a
very enjoyable day.
