They answered Him, “We are offspring of Abraham and have never been enslave to anyone. How is
that you ay, “You will become free”? Jesus answered them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who
practices sin is a slave to sin. The slave does not remain in the house forever; the son remains
forever. So if the Son set you free, you will be free indeed. I know that you are offspring of
Abraham; yet you seek to kill Me because my word finds no place in you. I speak of what I have
seen with My Father, and you do what you have heard from your father.”

There’s a Word for that! Grace

During the years of trouble in our careers, don’t we call out to God even more? He always makes a
way of escape. When we are weak, He is strong.

2 Corinthians 2:9 – But He said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect

in weakness. Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of
Christ may rest upon me.

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You for reminding us that Your grace is
sufficient for us because Your power is made
perfect in our weakness. Lord, why are we so

much more dependent upon You when we

are weak? Help us Lord to praise You in the
hard times at school and in the good times.
Let us not forget Your saving power. Lord, we

boast in our weakness so that the power of

Christ may rest upon us. We praise You in the
gracious name of Jesus. Amen.

Immediate prayer – Action Step #2– What does immediate prayer look like between colleagues?
If you are asked to pray for your colleague, by your colleague, pray immediately. If it is before or
after school it is free speech. If it is during the day and you are in a private place, pray right on the
spot for your colleague’s request in their presence. You will bless them mightily.
