Analysis of crime rates in State
Objective: To find out which states have highest number of crimes
Figure: This figure shows the cumulative number of crimes happened in all the states of India during
2001-2012. The size of the circle shows the variations in the crime rate, i.e. bigger the size of the
circle higher is the number of crimes in that state.
Output: It shows the highest number of crimes held between 2001 to 2012 were held in Madhya
Pradesh, second being Maharashtra and third is Tamil Nadu.
Objective: To analysis which states are has recorded lowest and highest number of crimes
