2. Describe how a company’s mission statement and objectives affect the way management
plans its business portfolio.
The business portfolio is the collection of businesses and products that make up the
company. A company mission and objective is the purpose and the target of the company.
So business portfolio is according it to analysics and design out the company business
portfolio.
3. Form a small group and conduct a SWOT analysis for NEUC. Based on your analysis,
suggest a strategy from the product/market expansion grid and an appropriate marketing mix
to implement that strategy.
An appropriate marketing mix is identify tactical marketing mix using the '7 Ps
of marketing'. Marketing strategy is more likely to be success if NEUC chooses the
right combination of marketing across product, price, promotion, place, people, process
and physical evidence. NEUC can use promotion to boost its brand recognition. For
example, advertisements such as television advertisements, radio commercials, print
media, and internet advertisements can be made in order to raise the profile of NEUC.
