A MAXIMUM OF FIVE (5) IN-STATES TUITION AND FEES AWARDS FOR SPRING 2020

I. ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

Students applying for the ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE AWARD FOR CONTINUING STUDENTS

 Must be matriculated and enroll full-time (12 credits or more) for the fall semester;
 Must enroll full-time (12 or more credits) for the spring semester;
 Must not have any outstanding I.P. notations on their transcripts;
 Must have earned at least 15 credits at BHCC;
 Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.75 or higher.

**Only college-level courses (numbered 100 and above) taken at Bunker Hill Community College and applicable
toward a degree or certificate program will be considered when determining eligibility.

II. HOW TO APPLY: If you are interested in applying please fill out this application form and submit it along with
your essay to Student Central Charlestown Campus or upload your application via this link
https://www.bhcc.edu/scholarships/, no later than 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 10, 2019.

IV. ESSAY: You are required to submit a one-page typed statement describing your educational and career goals.
Include in your statement any leadership activities you have demonstrated (community or church activities, family
and employment responsibilities, college participation, etc.) or honors or awards you have received.

APPLICANT AGREEMENT
**I have read and understood the scholarship eligibility requirements of the BHCC scholarship program. I understand that
if I’m selected as a scholarship/award recipient I must enrolled full time at BHCC for the spring semester in order to
receive my scholarship/award. I authorize BHCC to provide an unofficial transcript and a copy of my 2019-20 financial
aid information if necessary to the Scholarship Review Committee. Only those applicants selected by the Scholarship
Review Committee as recipients will be notified by letter.
