Hi Senior Students (FCE groups)

Due to our emergencies, we’ve got to do some homework regarding the plan of our
first project. If any doubt comes up, please do not hesitate to contact me through e-
mail.
ABOUT THE PROJECT

1. We need to finish the 20-question survey about migratory laws. Use

dictionaries or any other to check spelling and/or grammar mistakes. There
will not be more drafts, so that will be your final survey.
2. Remember there are four sections of questions.
a. First section: yes/no questions. It means one option only!
Sample: have you ever read traffic laws?
- Yes
- No
b. Second section: questions with three options from which interviewed
people should choose just one option.
Sample: how often do you drive a car?
- Everyday
- just some days a week
- I don’t drive.
c. Third section: questions with 5 options from which interviewed people
might choose any or all options.
Sample: Who responsible for correct pedestrian transit?
- Children
- Adults
- Police officers
- Judges
- Drivers
d. Fourth section: open-ended questions. They are to ask for opinion!
Sample: What do you think about pedestrian breaking laws in main
cities?

3. You will use monkeysurvey® to make the digital version of it. Every member
of the group will interview 5 different people digitally, so people might be
asked to complete the survey through mail or any other source. To check
who completed the results, you must include in the survey: name, last
name, email, age, relation with the interviewer. All those results must
appear on the final report.
4. Make your acquaintances respond the survey as soon as possible, so that
the next step of the work can start. (In most cases the surveys are complete
by now.) When you, every member of the group, get the responds of your 5
interviewed people, you must start making the report of the results. The
report will be turned-in in two ways: digitally (by Wednesday, October 9th
13h40) and printed-out (in paper, as soon as we get back to school.)
5. The survey-report presentation must show all the results with numbers,
percentages, pie charts, line charts and conclusions lined up to “how much
people know about migratory laws.”
6. You all might use PowerPoint slides, GIFs, Prezi, Keynotes, Google slides.
There must be a slide per question!
7. Finally, when we get back, you will be presenting in class in groups.
Remember to keep your portfolio updated as well.
GET PREPARED FOR GRAMMAR
1. You will practice the topics we have been learning in class. Here you will
find some links to get prepared to some evaluation when we get back to
