5. Pass Oral and Written Comprehensive Exams in 2 of the following: Applied Sociology,
1. Comparative Sociology, Criminology, Gender and Feminism, Race and Ethnic Relations
2. Theory, and Social Psychology.
6. Select the Dissertation Advisor and Committee.
3. Submit Appointment to Committee Form.
7. Select the Topic and secure committee approval of the Dissertation Research.
4. Enroll in 15 hours of Dissertation Credit.
8. File for HSIRB Approval.
9. Collect Data.
10. Complete the Dissertation
11. Apply for the Graduation Audit
12. Complete The Graduate College (TGC) forms.
13. Schedule the oral Defense
14. Complete the Oral Dissertation Defense.
15. Finish any required revisions/formatting.
16. Submit back to the Committee and get approval.
17. Submit the Electronic Thesis Dissertation (ETD)(Optional)/Submit Standard Dissertation
18. Graduation.
