Installation at Royal Ahold
Oklin International’s first food waste com-
posting machine was installed at Albert Hy-
permarket in 2013 through a contract with
Royal Ahold headquarters.

ment, and empties it into Oklin’s composter
on a daily basis.

By composting food waste on-site and reduc-

ing waste volume, Albert Hypermarkets were
able to generate savings.

Royal Ahold proudly announced the usage of

Oklin’s composting machines at a Biowaste
conference in 2015.

As of 2015, there are a total of 5 machines

installed at different Albert Hypermarket
locations.
