ACTIVITIES OF THE MONTH ENTREPRENEURSHIP PROGRAMME: ‘SPECIAL ASSEMBLY ON WORLD POPULATION DAY: Our diligent group of students studying in Std VI (Participants inthe School's Entrepreneurship programme) assisted by Rajan Paul (PGT- English) celebrated their Success for having exhibited consistent hard work and effective entrepreneur skills while operating a Popcom production facility. The Students celebrated their Success over a Lunch treat at Dubai Bakers. World Population Day is a event being Observed throughout the world. Students studying in Grade IX delivered an informative Speech dedicated to this Day , followed by a short quizzing session with audience with a purpose to sitize them about the effects of the increase in population. INTER HOUSE SPORTS COMPETITIONS: ge, Volley Ball Mateh: School conducted the Annual Inter-House Volley Ball competition for the students Studying for Std VI-XIL representing all 4 Houses, on 14%July 2018. All matches saw the pl hand-eye coordination which played akey role in digging == and spiking the ball xs maintaining Chess Competition: School held it's Inter-House chess competition - 2018 inviting participation from students studying in Std VI- XII, 14° July 2018. It was notable that the competition was both a fun and challenging experience for the participating Students SCOUTS AND GUIDES SESSIONS: COMMUNITY MARCH: Our School participated in a Community March , organised by the Distt Head ~ Kapurthala. The ‘Theme of the awareness march was ‘Say No to Drugs’. The march was led by the Dy Commissioner with a focus to sensitise the ‘SOW THE SEEDS FOR SUCCESS: general public about the fact that Drugs destroy lives and communities, undermine sustainable human development and a Carrom Competition: School held its Inter House carrom competition on 14° July 2018, inviting participation by Students Studying in Std I up to Std V. School prescribes learning the Carrom game, as it helps to relax the mind. Students Studying across Std VI through to Std IX, having enrolled in the SCOUTS & GUIDES Programme , practiced Marching Drill & Salute Drill ing a (Our student Aanchal Choudhary Eenentleyorimie (Grade XII Adorables) has been FACULTY ENRICHMENT WORKSHOP selected to attend the prestigious School conducted a special ad INSPIRE Programme ‘ workshops for teachers (Innovation in Science Pursuit - from 29" June to 7* July 2018. on different topics related to curriculum and personality development, The aim of the workshops for Inspired research) organised by Chandigarh University from 23rd - 27th July 2018. This programme is an initiative of the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. During the course of the programme, she gained an opportunity to interact one on one with Top Scientists of the country and also engage in conversation with young budding scientists.
