1. BE WISE ON USING WATER

Water is important for all life on Earth and that is why we need to conserve it. To conserve something
means that we care and protect things against neglect and damage. By conserving water we are conserving
our environment and ensuring the survival of all life on Earth. All life on Earth is connected. If humans pollute
water then it causes the fish and the insects in the river to get sick and die. If humans waste water then there
isn’t enough for the animals and plants that share the Earth with us. We all live together on Earth and we
must remember that when do something we could have a bad affect on these animals and plants.
Remember water is life and life is water.
2. BE WISE ON USING ELECTRICITY

We enjoy a very comfortable life by using electric energy, but we must also be aware that energy is a
limited resource. Further, global environmental problem literally became a global concern for us all and each
of us is expected to consume energy wisely in our daily lives. This is not really difficult.
Just being a little cautious, you can conserve energy without much trouble. Using energy wisely can even
reduce your electricity bill. By just turning off the appliances that not in use is alredy one of a big help.
3. RECYCLE

By simply seperating the biogradable and non biogradable waste is one of the example of how to recycle.
And by just doing it we already helps save energy, It reduces the amount of waste in our landfills and we are
creating less new materials because When we recycle old products into new ones, we don’t need to go out
and find new materials. This means that we aren’t abusing the natural resources around us, expending
energy to transport them, and using energy to make them into new products. This enables us to protect our
natural habits for the future.
4. JUST WALK OR RIDE YOUR BIKE

When your school or destination is near at your house don’t bother to take your car or ride a jeepney. In
that way you can reduce greenhouse gases while burning some calories and improving your health.
5. COMPOSTING AT HOME

Think about how much trash you make in a year. Reducing the amount of solid waste you produce in a
year means taking up less space in landfills. Plus, compost makes a great natural fertilizer.
6. TREE PLANTING

You can join some tree-planting activities. This way you can help accelerate the process of healing
the wounds of the earth’s ozone layer.Every tree absorbs carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, and CFC.
At the same time, it produces oxygen that thickens the earth’s atmosphere against heat radiation from
the sun. Furthermore, trees can reduce flooding in some areas. This is because a place without trees
can easily become a dry land where other plants cannot grow. By planting trees, you are restoring the
natural ecosystem that promotes life.

7. HAVE A CLEAN SURROUNDING


The simplest way to contribute to society and the environment is to clean your own surroundings all
the time and make your city healthier .Every single object, no matter how small it is, as long as it is
artificially manufactured, may contain toxins that can contaminate the soil, water, or air. Making sure
that your surroundings are clean will prevent scattered toxins from mixing with the environment.
Furthermore, waste buildup may lead to clogging of sewage systems that cause flooding.

8. REDUCE ON USING PLASTICS

At home or at work, you may have been buying and using some products that are not
environment-friendly, such as plastic .Most of the time, such products are not successfully trashed out.
This may cause contamination in the area. To reduce such risk, there are products that are
environmentally friendly. Styro-foam for instance, is not good for the environment, especially when
burned. Use some alternatives such as paper or the like.

9. ENCOURAGE AND PROMOTE Environmentally Friendly Lifestyle

You don’t have to join any organization or environmental groups to promote the environment. On your
own, you can do it any time. You can educate your friends and colleagues about how to protect the
environment. You can also spread the word using social media.

10. HAVE AN ORGANIC FARMING

Organic farming is known to produce safe and healthy food. On the other hand, it is also good for the
environment. This is because organic farming does not use pesticides and other chemicals that
produce pollutants. It can also contribute to the reduction of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.
Pesticides and other chemicals used in farming are produced in factories that dispose toxic waste to
the environment. Organic farming discourages people to support such destructive industry. In addition,
organic farming does not depend on fossil fuel to operate a farm.

11. WHOEVER VIOLATES ALWAYS REPORT THEM

It is best you learn all the laws pertaining to environmental protection. When you are aware of them, you
know which violations everyone should avoid. You can be a guard of environmental laws by reporting
any offender to proper authority. There is a saying that goes “No man is an island.” It means we need
one another to make our society and the environment a better place to live. Together, we can change
the world.

12. BE A RESPONSIBLE YOUTH

By being responsible youth, always exercising your action correctly and by always following the rules
and regualtion is already a big help. So be a model and a great example to people.
