Date and Time: November 27, 2018/ 1:00-3:00pm.

In my life I’ve learned that true happiness comes from giving and teaching .
Helping others along the way makes you evaluate who you are. Being able to help
is a privilege for us students for it teaches us how to become concerned to those
who are in need, it helps us to understand the spirit of compassion and to share
what we have to and abolish the selfishness hidden deep within us. As part of the
College of Education , we conducted a Seminar Workshop on Ecology Awareness
and Outreach Program at Preschool of Sofronio A. Cordovero Integrated School,
Barangay Jumaguicjic, Roxas City last November 16, 2018. Simple program was
organized by responsible students of the College of Education . We teach the
children how to read, how to pronunce, knowing the senses or the uses of senses
.We worked as one for the success of the activity. The lecture started in 9:00am,
begin with a prayer, asking for God’s presence in the said event. At exactly
11:00am lecture will end, some other children saying goodbye and thank you, i
saw how they enjoying with them, how to treat them as a like a family so it's a
part of my best unforgettable memories. Thank you.

The Seminar Workshop on Ecology Awareness and Outreach

Program has been conducted in Sofronio A. Cordovero Integrated
School, a preschool institution located at Barangay Jumaguicjic,
Roxas City. This outreach program aims for us , as future teacher in
knowing the environment of the preschool students by assisting and
observing how their environment affects their attitude and learnings.
We also observe how these children are coping up and striving for
good. We, in turn learned how to make different approaches in
every child we encounter.
The said program was organized by responsible students of the
College of Education headed by Dr. Regina Jocelyn Alba. We
teach the children how to read, how to pronounce correctly, and
other basic but useful knowledge especially about different senses.
We worked as one for the success of the activity. The lecture started
at 1:00pm, begin with a prayer, asking for God’s presence in the said
event. At exactly 3:00pm lecture has ended, some other children
saying goodbye and thank you.
In this beautiful day I realize that life is more on the happiness,
compassion, kindness and showing love to others. There is always a
hope in every knowledge we imparted. True service is like pouring
out a blessing to those child who will be the hope of the country. It is
more like we are traveling in a straight path which leads to our goal
and ambitions in life.

As we come back again in the Sofronio A. Cordovero Integrated

School, a preschool institution located at Barangay Jumaguicjic, Roxas
City. I was happy to see them again with those cheerful eyes and the
grins they exhibit because; the teachers, parents and children are very
excited and please in seeing us once more. As we arrived in school, we
carried all the items and stuffs for gift giving and we put and arranged it in
the stage. We prepared the stuffs and our gift giving program. When the
program started, one of my fellow classmates introduced and presented
the sequence of our gift giving program. Next, my classmate
acknowledged the presence of our Dean of Education, at the same time,
presented her to have a remarkable speech about the essence of the gift
giving to the children.
After her passionate and persuasive speech, the the students
prepared a dance showdown talents for our gift giving program. The
showcasing of talents revealed that Christmas is truly in our hearts. Even
though our gift giving program was running late due to hectic and loaded
schedule, we still made it better and produced positive outcome just by
seeing the happiness on their eyes. Although it was delayed, we still
manage to give children our gifts and put a smile on their faces.
When the program was ended, children are delightful to receive
their gifts. But for us, it's not about the gifts, it is all about the friendship,
love, humbleness and love to each other. Moreover, as a future teacher
we make everything for our students to give them a successful life, of
course with happiness and a gift of love that even money cannot buy nor
other material things cannot be compared. The joy they showed to us
makes our day fruitful and grateful.
NARRATIVE REPORT WRITING: BASIC RULES OF THE PROCESS OF WRITING
Posted on October 30, 2015 by Steven N. Sperling
Every student encounters necessity of writing different kinds of academic papers.
As a rule, every educational establishment has specific requirements for academic
papers. So, the current article contains discussion of narrative report writing.

Every academic paper has its specific structure and format that should be taken
into account in the process of writing.

The process of narrative report writing has a specific structure to follow:

Introduction. This part of narrative report writing should present the topic for
discussion. As a rule, the introductory part consists of one paragraph. It gives the
readers a notion of the basic discussion. You should include a thesis statement
into the first part of narrative report writing.
Body. This part of narrative report writing contains the discussion of the problem.
You should not evaluate the effectiveness of presentation in the process of
narrative report writing. You should not present your personal opinion in the
process of narrative report writing. You should describe and narrate in the
process of narrative report writing. Imagine that you describe what you have read
or seen. Present the story and images in your own words.
Conclusion. This part of the narrative report writing process requires presentation
of the summary and the final idea. It is preferable that the statements of your
academic paper were unprejudiced and clear.
Any kind of academic paper should be structured in accordance with
requirements of the educational establishment. With a view to the fact that every
requirement is a specific one, it is necessary to follow them carefully.
When you feel the writing process is over and you have completed the paper,
proofread and edit your paper.

Narrative Essay
As a mode of expository writing, the narrative approach, more than any other,
offers writers a chance to think and write about themselves. We all have
experiences lodged in our memories, which are worthy of sharing with readers.
Yet sometimes they are so fused with other memories that a lot of the time spent
in writing narrative is in the prewriting stage.

When you write a narrative essay, you are telling a story. Narrative essays are told
from a defined point of view, often the author's, so there is feeling as well as
specific and often sensory details provided to get the reader involved in the
elements and sequence of the story. The verbs are vivid and precise. The
narrative essay makes a point and that point is often defined in the opening
sentence, but can also be found as the last sentence in the opening paragraph.

Since a narrative relies on personal experiences, it often is in the form of a story.

When the writer uses this technique, he or she must be sure to include all the
conventions of storytelling: plot, character, setting, climax, and ending. It is
usually filled with details that are carefully selected to explain, support, or
embellish the story. All of the details relate to the main point the writer is
attempting to make.

To summarize, the narrative essay

is told from a particular point of view

makes and supports a point
is filled with precise detail
uses vivid verbs and modifiers
uses conflict and sequence as does any story
may use dialogue
The purpose of a narrative report is to describe something. Many students write
narrative reports thinking that these are college essays or papers. While the
information in these reports is basic to other forms of writing, narrative reports
lack the "higher order thinking" that essays require. Thus narrative reports do not,
as a rule, yield high grades for many college courses. A basic example of a
narrative report is a "book report" that outlines a book; it includes the characters,
their actions, possibly the plot, and, perhaps, some scenes. That is, it is a
description of "what happens in the book." But this leaves out an awful lot.

What is left out is what the book or article is about -- the underlying concepts,
assumptions, arguments, or point of view that the book or article expresses. A
narrative report leaves aside a discussion that puts the events of the text into the
context of what the text is about. Is the text about love? Life in the fast lane?
Society? Wealth and power? Poverty? In other words, narrative reports often
overlook the authors purpose or point of view expressed through the book or
article.

Once an incident is chosen, the writer should keep three principles in mind.

Remember to involve readers in the story. It is much more interesting to actually

recreate an incident for readers than to simply tell about it.
Find a generalization, which the story supports. This is the only way the writer's
personal experience will take on meaning for readers. This generalization does
not have to encompass humanity as a whole; it can concern the writer, men,
women, or children of various ages and backgrounds.
Remember that although the main component of a narrative is the story, details
must be carefully selected to support, explain, and enhance the story.
Conventions of Narrative Essays
In writing your narrative essay, keep the following conventions in mind.

Narratives are generally written in the first person, that is, using I. However, third
person (he, she, or it) can also be used.
Narratives rely on concrete, sensory details to convey their point. These details
should create a unified, forceful effect, a dominant impression. More information
on the use of specific details is available on another page.
Narratives, as stories, should include these story conventions: a plot, including
setting and characters; a climax; and an ending.
