August 17, 2006 (Long Beach, CA)—The Long Beach Junior Chamber (LBJC) is

Randy Terrell gearing up for its 12th Annual Back-to-School Children’s Shopping Spree, which
looks to be the largest yet. This year low-income children, selected by the Boys
VP Individual Development and Girls Clubs of Long Beach, will be taken on a shopping spree for school
Patricia Margosian supplies and school uniforms. The event will be at Target in the Los Altos
VP Marketing Shopping Center from 7am to 9am on Saturday, August 19th.

At 8 am, the children will be teamed up with a Junior Chamber member and
Director, Interactive Marketing given $100 gift cards to purchase school items like uniforms, shoes, and other
Milton Arcos essentials. In addition to the gift cards, the children will be receiving backpacks

The Children’s Shopping Spree is a nationwide event hosted by hundreds of
Director, Public Relations Junior Chamber chapters across the U.S. The Long Beach chapter helped found

The Long Beach Junior Chamber is a leadership and civic organization for
individuals aged 21 to 40. Every year, in addition to monthly social, civic, and
Affiliates training events, the Long Beach Junior Chamber hosts the Miss Long Beach
California Junior Chamber Pageant, Children’s Shopping Spree, and a Bachelor Auction to raise money for
US Junior Chamber cancer aid and education
