Based on the survey, there are four leading causes of students' failure. We found
out that the most common reason is laziness. They don't focus on raising their grades,
they don't even know what they want to be. Therefore, they lose interest by losing
direction. Moreover, this explanation also lead them to not value their studies.
Absenteeism also is one of the reason why students get a failing grade. Another is
procrastination where it is the antithesis of time management. The respondents do not
always complete their assignments and projects it's because they do not know how to
balance their time. With their young mind, they are still engaged with other activities
like playing, going out with friends, watching and in helping their parents to do the
household chores reason why they do not pass their activities on time. Last is too many
direction/lack of focus. Students have many unwanted businesses to distract them in
their lives. The advanced world we live in now is full of distractions such as gadgets,
social media, etc. that's why they are more likely to spend more time in using these
rather their education that will help them towards a successful future. Parents and
teachers must teach the youth how to balance in competing technologies and external
elements so that they are always prepared
Conclusion

We, humans fail at some point in our lives. It's necessary and fundamental part
of life. People have to generally fail at something before they find success. Failure
doesn't mean as an end, failure gives us indication of permanence. To fail is to hit one's
target, whatever it may be but it doesn't prevent us from trying again.

In line with the students' failure, this is a dilemma we are afraid of. It's because it
affects the trust we have given for ourselves especially when our parents expect a lot
from us. We would have thought that we failed them. Despite of this, the performance
of the students who get a failing grade can be improved by providing them appropriate
learning facilities. Teachers should consider the basic teaching methods for a more
organized lesson presentation, look into constructing rest items with varied difficulty
and they should listen not only to the responses given by the students, but also to how
the students are feeling when giving the answers for them to be able to reach out to
those who need assistance. In order for the students to not get a failing grades, they
must learn to take initiative and make their studies as their number one priority. To
succeed, students need to have good reasons for being in a school. In short, academic
success is not governed by a student cognitive abilities alone. By doing so, they ensure
their own success and that their education meets their individual needs.

Above all, let's get educated, empowered and enriched with knowledge. Don't
let the youth be a statistic, they are destined for greatness. So get involved today and
take action to propel the youth to the next phase in their life.
