Role, Requirement & Responsibilities:

The team is looking for a motivated, self-reliant and hands-on contributor who possesses both analytical and
development skills as well as experience communicating effectively with both business and technical audiences.
This individual must have at least 3 years of experience working in a production support/business facing support
role, ideally in a geographically distributed environment. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in SQL, Oracle
PL/SQL and Unix scripting, with knowledge of Java and Groovy on Grails being a big benefit. The candidate will:
• Engage and actively contribute in requirements elaboration with business end users
• Develop and maintain a current understanding of our business and how the applications we support are
used to run it
• Present data to end users in an understandable format using standard office tools (Word, Excel, etc.)
• Display an attitude of openness, collaboration and accountability
• Design, develop, QC and verify deployment of deliverables ranging from data updates to proof of concept
applications
• Approach problems from a variety of angles and be willing to challenge the status quo
• Have a track record of successfully juggling multiple projects with constantly shifting priorities
• Interact directly with business members by phone and video conference to get detailed information or
discuss questions (either detailed requirements to complete a request or business followup on results
provided)
