Rationale:
The researchers want to know how LSVMS transfer students of STEM strand
adapt in their new environment. According to Jackson D.(2010) to examine the
socialization factors of community college transfer students in Science, Technology,
Engineering and Mathematics (STEM); to examine the socialization factors that impact
the academic and social adjustment of community college transfer students in STEM
majors.
Research Questions:
1. Is there any study regarding the lived experiences of LSVMS transfer students of
STEM strand.
2. What are the problems involving their adaptation did the tranferees experience.
3. How did the transferees solve their problem about adapting in their new
environment.
Methodology:
1. Research Design: This study will be using the Phenomenology type of research
design, because the researchers will be dealing with the lived experiences.
2. Research Participants: The researchers will be conducting a survey from 4
transferees in the STEM strand in LSVMS because they are the ones who would

help the researcher gather information useful for the research.
3. Research Locale: The researchers will be conducting their study in LSVMS high
school building. Likewise, it would be beneficial for the researcher to gather
information since the research participants reside in the locale written above.
Conceptual Framework:
This research conceptualizes the ideas that will lead to the discovery of the solution

for the problem. Also, this conceptual framework helps the researchers arrive in more
organized concep
