IV. Objectives
1. To determine if the proposed organization chart will be effective in line with the
expansion of the company.
2. To fill the additional jobs because of the addition of tissue holder in the existing
line of products.
3. To adapt the new environment as for the expansion of the company because of the
expected market potential.
4. To raise on the meeting the best solutions accumulated by Engineer Severo
Lagayan.
V. Areas of Consideration
1. The addition of new product, the tissue holder as expected that it will create
opportunity to the company with its expansion which means additional workload
to the company.
2. The effectiveness of the proposed organization chart that will match the continuous
progression of the company.
3. The company’s market potential as it was the main reason of the expansion of the
company.
4. The sales force of the company because it was identified as one of the weaknesses
to be address.
VI. Alternative courses of Action
1. The company should hire the additional manpower in the manufacturing
department due to the expansion of the Bits and Pieces International Corporation.
Advantage: The demand on the increasing works on the company because
of the expansion will be fulfilled. The addition of the tissue holder on the
current production will surely result in the distribution of new jobs but the
profit margin will surely increase.
Disadvantage: Additional workers means additional employee to be handle
and it will surely increase the budget in payroll.
2. Proper staffing should be observe on the new organization chart knowing that the
company is growing bigger due to company’s market potential.
Advantage: Bits and Pieces International Corporation will handle the
company even better because of the proper strategy that been made. The
people in each position will utilize their potential to manage the company
even if tons of product will introduce in the production line.
Disadvantage: Too much focusing on the proposed organization chart can
disregard the smaller things in the company like production and manpower
and failure in staffing will mess up the whole company.
VII. Recommendation
The company should do the second option. If the company have the qualified person
on the new organization chart with vacant positions, there is no worry on the
performance of this managers or leaders in terms of handling the people in their
jurisdiction. Careful selection of this staff is a must because it will define the future of
the company. It is true that expansion of the company requires new facility, land,
personnel, or machineries but it will not work if not qualified person on position will
handle it all. The best person who will monitor these aspects will surely increase the
production capacity and profit margin if the company.
