Reading

Long, long ago, when the gods and goddesses used to mingle in the affairs of mortals, there
was a small kingdom on the slope of Mount Wayang in West Java. The King, named Sang Prabu, was
a wise man. He had an only daughter, called Princess Teja Nirmala, who was famous for her beauty
but she was not married. One day Sang Prabu made up his mind to settle the matter by a show of
strength.

After that, Prince of Blambangan, named Raden Begawan had won the competition.
Unfortunately, the wicked fairy, Princess Segara fell in love with Raden Begawan and used magic
power to render him unconscious and he forgot his wedding. When Sang Prabu was searching,
Raden Begawan saw him and soon realized that he had been enchanted by the wicked fairy. The
fairy could not accept this, so she killed Raden Begawan. When Princess Teja Nirmala heard this, she
was very sad. So a nice fairy took her to the Kahyangan.

A Trip to the Zoo

Yesterday my family and I went to the zoo to see the elephant. When we got to the zoo, we
went to the shop to buy some food to give to the animals. After getting the food, we went to the
nocturnal house where we saw birds and reptiles which only come out at night. Before having lunch,
we went for a ride on the elephant. It was a thrill to ride it. Dad fell off when he let go off the rope,
but he was ok. During the lunch we fed some birds in the park. In the afternoon we saw the animals
being fed. When we returned home we were very tired but happy. It was because we had so much

Yogyakarta is one of the foremost cultural centers of Java, the seat of the mighty Javanese

Last month, my friends and I(45)… one recreational place in Singkawang.Singkawang had
