Summary, Conclusion and Recommendation

This chapter presents the summary of the study pointing out the important
findings with its conclusions and recommendations.

Summary
Based on the results of the study, the findings are summarized as follows:

1. The level of study habits got an average mean of 3.59 and has a moderate
verbal equivalent.

2. The level of proficiency in specialized subjects got an average mean of 87.80

and has a high verbal equivalent.

3. The Study Habits and Level of Proficiency in Specialized Subjects shows that
the study habits got an average mean of 3.59 while the specialized subjects got
an 87.80 in the average mean. The respondents obtained a computation of the
t-value of 1.0 at 0.05 level of significance.

Conclusions
Based on the summary of the study, the following conclusions are drawn:

1. The majority of the students are developing a good study habits when it terms
of being specific this indicates to a high average mean while on the other hand,
other students are not practicing a good study habits in terms of time
management which indicates to a low average mean. Just are few students
having a good study habits in terms of being organic and systematic.

2. The majority of the ABM students got a high grades in their specialized subjects
that indicates that the students are developing/practicing a good study habits
that result to a high level of proficiency which reflect to their grades.

3. The null hypothesis is rejected but the study habits and level of proficiency in
specialized subject has a significant relationship in short there is a significant
relationship between study habits and level of proficiency in specialized
subjects in selected Grade 12 ABM students in Davao Doctor’s College Inc.

Recommendations

Students. The researchers highly recommend that students should track their study
technique when it comes to studying so that they can know if they are improving or
excelling on their studies or maybe failing.
Teachers. The researchers highly recommend that teacher should give more
considerations and concerns to the students and also guide the students more so that
students would have motivations in studying.

Administrators. The researchers highly recommend that administrators should at

least conduct a meeting to the faculty about the student’s excel on their studies so that
the teachers could guide the students on their academic area.

Parents. The researchers highly recommend that parents should understand and
guide their child at home when it comes to developing the right study habits but parent
should not put pressure on their child so that the student will not be stressed out in
studying.
