NOTICE REGARDING MONTHLY FUEL COST ADJUSTMENT (MFCA)

Consequent upon rise in Coal prices, Clean Energy Cess on Coal and Railway
Freight, since determination of Fuel Cost in the Tariff Order, Monthly Fuel Cost
Adjustment (MFCA), Power Station Wise, in accordance with the Fuel Surcharge
Formula contained in West Bengal Electricity Regulatory Commission (Terms and
Conditions of Tariff) Regulations, 2011 as amended, for September, 2019 works
out to :

Recovery of MFCA will accordingly be effected for September, 2019 from the
purchaser of electricity from WBPDCL under the purview of Hon’ble West Bengal
Electricity Regulatory Commission.

Annual reconciliation of MFCA will be carried out in accordance with the above
Regulations.

This notice may be read with the Notice Ref. No. WBPDCL/MFCA/11 dt
14.05.2011 issued with the approval of the Hon’ble Electricity Regulatory
Commission and published on 14.05.2011 in accordance with the above
Regulations.
