CERTIFICATE OF CALIBRATION
Calibration performed by
1/2
Note *
The Range noise is calculated from 10000 consecutive range measurements at 127KHz (samples/sec) data
acquisition rate (Laser beam angle of incidence 90°) . The LARA (Iaser range finder) system is very stable and not
subjected to changes due to mechanical stress. The accuracy of the ranging device is checked within the mechanical
calibration process . LARA recalibration is performed in case the accuracy has changed with respect to the
performance specifications stated in the calibration certificate. Otherwise the old specifications remain valid .
Linearity error is measured versus the range reference : Agilent 5519B (Laser-Interferometer)
Note **
The calibration is checked with a reference target field in a special calibration facility . The reference target field
consists of more than 130 targets and is surveyed every 6 month according to the Z+F internal standard : angular
measurements lefUright face from several standpoints with Tachymeter, scale measurements to fixed reference
prisms with Laser-Tracker.
Note ***
Zoller + Frohlich GmbH (Z+F) recommends the stated calibration interval for alllMAGER devices, used for
professional surveying purposes . Depending' on handl'ing- / transportation- conditions and general device status a
shorter ca'libration interval may be necessary. Applying the Z+F LaserControl© IMAGER self-test procedure the
device accuracy can be checked by t'he user prior to the surveying process .
Remark: The IMAGER® laser scanners will display a recali'bration reminder after 200 days of usage, however this
does not affect the validity of the calibration interval, stated in this ce rtificate!
Quality control
Z+F internal standards for production and device testing quality control applies documentation and measures simila r
to what is stated in ISO 9001. Calibration is an automated process, calibration parameters are generated
automatícally. Calibration is performed according to Z+F internal standard which is similar to what is suggested in
ISO 17025:2005.
This calibration certifica te may not be reproduced other than in fuI! except and with the perrnission of the
Zol!er + Fróhlich GmbH (Z+F). Calibration certificates are void without signatures.
