Osteoarthritis is a type of arthritis that is affected by the breakdown and eventual loss of the cartilage
of one or more joints. Cartilage is a protein ingredient that serves as a cushion between the bones of
the joints. Osteoarthritis is also known as degenerative arthritis. Arthritis (known as Amavata in
Ayurveda) is an autoimmune disease that reasons chronic inflammation of the joints. It can also
cause swelling of the tissue around the joints, as well as in other organs in the body. Autoimmune
syndromes are illnesses that occur when the body's tissues are incorrectly attacked by their own
immune system. Patients with autoimmune diseases have antibodies in their blood that goal their
own body tissues, where they can be connected with inflammation. Because it can mark multiple
other organs of the body, Rheumatoid Arthritis is stated to as a systemic illness and is sometimes
called rheumatoid infection.
Causes
Arthritis is mostly related to aging. With aging, the water content of the cartilage growths and the
protein makeup of cartilage degenerates. Repetitive use of joints over the years annoys and
inflames the cartilage, causing joint pain and swelling. Eventually, cartilage originates to degenerate
by flaking. In advanced cases, there is a total loss of the cartilage cushion between the bones of the
joints Loss of cartilage cushion reasons friction between the bones, leading to pain and limitation of
joint mobility. Inflammation of the cartilage can also motivate new bone outgrowths (spurs) to form
around the joints. Better intake of indigestible, heavy and mismatched foods; having food at
improper times; indigestion; intake of milk and milk products, particularly yogurt; intake of meat of
aquatic animals; lack of physical movement or doing exercise after having fatty foods are some of
the common causes of Rheumatoid Arthritis.
Symptoms
The most shared sign of arthritis is pain in the affected joint after repetitive use. Joint pain is
generally worse later in the day. The Main symptoms are,
Thirst
Swelling
Indigestion
Lethargy
Pain and stiffness in the body
Heaviness in the body
Sometimes lack of appetite
Pain and stiffness in the joints of the hands
Management
Cap Arthritis- QR 6 bottle.
Dosage
2-2-2 (2 caps 3 times daily) for 100 days.
Ayurvedic treatment of Rheumatoid Arthritis starts with pacification of Vata and exclusion of toxins
from the body. Herbal medicines are managed to improve the digestive fire and prevent further
creation of ama. Panchakarma massage therapies are quite useful in subsiding pain in Arthritic
patients.
Home Remedies
Go for complete fasting or rely on a liquid or semi-solid diet for an entire day, depending on your
strength. You can follow this with hot fomentation (presentation of moist heat). This can be done by
wringing cloth in warm water and giving a compress over the affected parts or steam bath or taking a
bath with lukewarm water. These are the greatest methods of digesting ama.
