INTRODUCTION

1.1 Introduction
The Crime Investigation System is to supply top quality and clear policing that satisfies
the aspirations of the individuals and therefore the society at massive in making and
maintaining a State within which there’s peace, co-existence and order, therefore on give
a contributory setting for sustained prosperity. We have a tendency to as a team area unit
perpetually operating towards building a deep sense of trust within the Police Force
therefore, instill a deep sense of security within the public.
In our endeavor to ceaselessly strengthen public-police relations we have a tendency to
area unit currently taking advantage of the interactive feature of the Internet. This
medium offers a two-way relationship between the information-givers and receivers and
this can be exactly what we have a tendency to will make the most keep up with our
police expression-" With You, For You, Always ".
1.2 Objective
The project mainly related to Data centralization process all police stations. Our Main
objective is to stop delays in investigating a crime and the judgment. Inform police
departments in cities about the availability of Information sharing with police
departments to make the city crime free.

2. EXISTING SYSTEM

In the present case, if any citizen wants to file a complaint against any crime then he has to
go manually and the police department also has to investigate the matter and they have to
handle the report manually. Suppose if a crime case is being investigated in two different
cities, then mutual sharing of reports is not possible and sending complaints online is also
not possible, so we are introducing a new concept to avoid this problem. Which is called
"My Mission with Out." crime ".
Disadvantages of Existing System
 The data pertaining to a crime is available at a particular police station
 Lack of information to one police department regarding details of other branches of
police departments.
 The crime record is not available instantly.
 Loss of crucial evidence due to delay.
 Delay in the judgment process.

3 PROPOSED WORK

3.1 Proposed Work Introduction

This proposed system applies/applicable to all police stations present all over the country
and specifically examines the issue of crime record management. It is well known that
crime prevention, detection and criminal offending rely on a highly responsive backbone
of information management. It has been proposed to centralize the information in one
place for fast and efficient sharing of information in all police stations across the region.
Initially, the system is implemented in cities and towns and later, so that a police
detective can obtain all the records of the state, which will help in completing the cases
quickly and successfully. The system is also used to generate information for proactive
and preventive measures to fight crime. This web app provides the following information:

 The system provides details of the police station and the employees.

 Application victims and registered FIR Provides details.

 The system can provide details of evidence and their sequence at any time.

 This application provides details of existing charge sheets and their status.

3.2.1. Admin Module (Headquarter):
This module is about an administrator. The administrator has all authority over this
application, as he maintains this entire application. The administrator can register the new
police station, register new victims, file FIRs to new victims, file crime charge sheet, and
investigate. And he can remove all the details of the victims, he can see all the online
officers in the portal.

3.2.2 Investigation Module (Investigation Officer):

This module deals with investigation. In this module, the investigating officer can view
F.I.R details, new victim details, witness details, evidence details and charge sheet details.

4
3.2.3 Writer Module (Constable):
This module belongs to the author. In this module, the duty of the writer is presented in
the police station. Writing may include new victim details, new investigative details, new
witness details, new evidence statements, new crime nature statements, and new charge
sheets.

3.2.4. User Module:

Register all the data that is necessary for the investigation to take place in proper length.
Collects information related to all the evidences under normal sequence of investigation.

3.5 Performance Requirements

Performance is measured or calculated in terms of the output provided by the application.
Requirements specification plays an important role in the analysis of systems. Only when
the requirement specifications are properly given is it possible to design a system that
will fit the required environment. This largely relaxes the need specifications for users of
existing systems as they are the ones who eventually use the system. This is because the
requirements are known during the initial stages so that the system can be designed
according to those requirements. Once designed it is very difficult to change the system
and on the other hand designing a system, which does not meet user requirements, is of
no use.
The requirement specification for any system is loosely expressed as given below:
 The system should be able to interface with the existing or current system.
 The system should be correct and accurate.
 The system should be better and fast than the existing or current system.
The current system is completely dependent on the user to perform all the duties.

4 CONCLUSION AND FUTURE WORK

4.1 Conclusion
This project initiates the target of providing the user with custom and powerful grievance
(complaint) registration and method management system facet web application. The
application or software is made with all choices like grievance registration, prisoner’s
registration, and postmortem report generation etc. All the requirements specified
throughout the analysis part and design part (phase) are totally met, therefore leading to
the formation of fine web application. The interface provided is extremely user friendly
and versatile (flexible) for all times.

4.2 Future Enhancement

 User will view the progress of their grievance (complaint) online.
 By the long run technology user will view the case details and progress of the
complaints on their mobile phones.
 Face recognition technology will apply. User or witness of the crime will provide the
physical details or information of the crook (thief).
