Use of cell phone in the classroom.

 Introduction:

Technology is present in all areas of life. In the academic world, technology

is the engine of many innovative teaching methods. In the rise of technology and
social networks, chat has become a common means of communication for many
people around the world. Thus, thanks to our mobiles, we can talk or write with
friends and family where and when we want. Nowadays people of any age use
smartphones in a natural way. Therefore, using technology in the classroom can
create a greater link with the reality of our students taking advantage of skills they
have acquired and develop in their day to day. (Cambridge, 2018)

 Development:

1. Cell phone use in language hours (English).

The cell phone has as many advantages as disadvantages when studying

another language, it is very necessary since we can use some applications that help us
learn vocabulary, pronunciation, etc. But it is also a distractor that can harm us in
learning.
2. Cell phone use in education.

 Quick investigation  To cheat.
 Student Organizer  Expose to theft.
 Voice memos  Network security

 Use of calculator.  Video game addiction.

In short, learning to make responsible use of technology in general and

mobile phones in particular is an educational opportunity. There are those who
believe that the prohibition on its use will not help much and bet on building a
responsible use with the devices in which the entire educational community
participates. (Espinal, 2018)

• Conclusion.

In conclusion, it is good that educators channel this tool and look for different
ways to include cell phones as support material in their chairs, because these devices
can deliver multiple benefits in the process of learning for young people, as it is a
very effective to interact with them through a communicative code that they know
and accommodate them.

However, like everything else in life, excesses and abuses will always be bad,
and we are currently in the habit of using the cell phone in excess, regardless of time,
place, space and respect for others. We have lost the sense of respecting others, as
long as we have the freedom to speak, it does not seem to matter in the least that the
rights that, at least it is supposed, others have.(Cornejo, 2016).
