SCHOOL NUTRITION MONTH CELEBRATION 2019

NARRATIVE REPORT
Following the Presidential Decree 491 in 1974 which declared that “Nutrition Month
shall be held every July to create greater awareness on the importance of nutrition among
Filipinos”, our school conducted the Nutrition Month celebration. This year’s theme is
“Kumain nang Wasto at Maging aktibo…Push Natin ‘to!” The campaign aims to catalyze
actions to promote the consumption of healthy diets, increase physical activity and
reduced sedentary behavior through activities of daily living among individuals and
families.
Liberato Damian Elementary School supports this order through various activities
to promote the said aim. The following are the activities conducted through the leadership
of our principal, Dr.Thelma V. Lattao and the initiative of our school Feeding Coordinator,
Mrs. Esperanza G. Padiernos:
